Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Press Release 1-27-12

The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Deputy Sheriff Recruit. This position is for non-certified officers.

The entry level salary for the position of Deputy Sheriff Trainee is currently at $37,496 while in the Academy annually. Deadline for submitting applications is February 29, 2012.

Requirements:

All applicants must be 21 years old and be able to pass the following:

1) Written Exam

2) Physical agility test

3) Oral interview

4) Extensive Background and Criminal Record Check

5) Polygraph, Psychological tests

6) Medical exam, Drug screen
