FIRST LADY KATIE O’MALLEY TO WELCOME ATTENDEES TO CREATING CHANGE CONFERENCE

ANNAPOLIS, MD First Lady Katie O’Malley will welcome attendees to the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force’s 24th Conference on LGBT Equality to Maryland.

The mission of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force is to build the grassroots power of the LGBT community. The Task Force works to honor the diversity of human expression and identity to create opportunity for all.

The conference attracts more than 2,500 people from all over the country every year. Presenters and participants come from all walks of life and include members of the business community, elected officials, students, faith leaders and staff and volunteers of non-profit organizations.

Governor O’Malley will also address attendees on Sunday.
