You know what Folks, Mike McDermott has had his fair share of nay sayers over the many years I have personally known him but let me say this. There is NO better Delegate and there may have never been, (throughout history) a more informed and vocal Delegate in the state of Maryland.
This man sets the bar when it comes to HOW to represent his constituents. His passion is second to NONE. His true knowledge of each piece of legislation is just amazing.
Last night he spoke about his experience and frustration, especially for the Eastern Shore. His concerns towards where we are headed as a state were very clear and when Mike is done speaking, well, there's absolutely no doubt what he does and doesn't stand for.
Yes, I could spell out just about everything Mike spoke about last night but you know what, I'd rather encourage you to find the time to actually attend one of his speaking events. He will have you in the palm of his hands as he so charismatically walks you through his life in Annapolis.
There's a good reason for those nay sayers, (as mentioned above) the Democrats are scared to death of this man because there's no doubt in my mind being a State Delegate is just a stepping stone as to where Mike will ultimately end up.
If we were ever fortunate enough to have Mike McDermott run for Governor we'd certainly enjoy a much better way of life in the state of Maryland. Mike McDermott is where the BS ends and the accountability begins.
I want to thank the Worcester County Women's Republican Club for their kind invitation. It was well worth the trip.

I agree with you Joe. Del McDermott is a refreshing change. You will get your answers from Del McDermott. He doesn't go on and on for a 20 minute fillibuster so you end up forgetting what you had even asked him. You may not like his answers all the time but he will not sugar coat it and will tell it like it is.
We will support him in whatever he chooses to do.
