D.C. Man Admits Murdering Woman In Front Of Their Children

WASHINGTON -- A 48-year-old D.C. man has admitted to stabbing his estranged wife in front of the couple's children last month in Northeast.
 
Claude Kinney pleaded guilty Tuesday in D.C. Superior Court to first-degree murder related to the death of 42-year-old Alecia Wheeler.
 
Prosecutors say Wheeler obtained a temporary protection order against Kinney on Sept. 12. The next day, Kinney asked police to help him obtain items from Wheeler's home, and later visited one of the couple's three children -- ages 1, 3 and 5 -- at school
