Today's Survey Question 10-26-11

Why does the state of Maryland NOT tax Canned Food for humans but they DO tax for canned Dog Food and Cat Food?

because, first they know we will spend crazy amounts of money for our pets...

Secondly, They tax us every which way, from materials to the final product, they figured we already taxed them for cans based on the materials...

They do not tax what they consider necessities and a pet is a luxury/priviledge not a necessity for survival.

Dog & Cat food is not suitable for human consumption. At least not for most people.

It's because dogs and cats don't pay other taxes like humans and can better afford it.
