Norfolk Southern Railroad Will Close Market Street Crossing for Repairs

Greenwood -- As a public courtesy, the Department of Transportation (DelDOT) wants to inform area residents that Norfolk Southern Railroad will close the railroad crossing on Market Street between Route 13 and First Street in Greenwood for the replacement of the crossing. The crossing will be closed at 8 a.m. on Monday, October 31. The crossing will reopen by 6 p.m. on Friday, November 4, pending weather.

Detour routes:

Westbound: Route 13 to Greenwood Road onto First Street and return to Market Street

Eastbound: First Street onto Greenwood Road to Route 13 and back to Market Street

DelDOT will post signs to alert motorists of the closure and the accompanying detour routes.
