Would love to see George C. do an historical background on this building.

Nice building-Anne Parker Taylor made it a great and fun place to be. Best of luck to her in all her future endeavors. Sure that doesnt help to sell the place but my wife and I sure liked it and tried to support it when and where we could.

I would love to see this as a Wedding reception building. The lot connected to ot could be transformed to a outside wedding area. I just thought I would throw this idea out there.

The biggest problem, no free parking, building is run down and plaza is always closed?

I wouldn't give $149,000 for it. It would cost way to much to get it back up to code.

9:49, I would recommend Paul Touart's book At The Crossroads: The Architectural History Of Wicomico County, Maryland. The building was erected in 1886, just after the great Salisbury fire. For a good part of the 20th century it housed Dorman and Smythe Hardware Co. Later, as many of you recall, it was Thomas R. Young's Pianos. I am fortunate to have found a tin match holder with Dorman and Smythe advertised on the front.
