Incident:
Date of Incident: 28 October 2010
Location: 4000 block of Joseph Drive, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Jonathan R. Montague, 28, Eden, MD

Narrative: On 28 October 2010 at 8:20 PM, a deputy responded for a reported assault with an automobile in the 4000 block of Joseph Drive in Eden. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a 29 YOA female victim who stated that she was standing in her driveway when Jonathan Montague drove up in a 2005 Hyundai and bumped into her, causing her to lose her balance and fall onto the hood of the Hyundai.

According to the victim, Montague then accelerated quickly before stopping abruptly which caused the victim to slide off onto the ground. Montague then allegedly pulled forward so that he parked with the front of the Hyundai positioned over top of the victim.

According to the victim, Montague was laughing and even told the deputy that he was just joking around. The victim was transported to PRMC via EMS.

The deputy placed Montague under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Montague in the Detention Center in lieu of $50,000.00 bond.

if someone was ran over by a car you are sure getting around damn good and not acting like someone who was hurt. so don't lock him up for a lier.

i totally agree with the one above me. I mean if the person is walking around find and dandy and acting like nothing happened why would you lock someone up?
