I have not been able to find employment for over 1 1/2 years, since I am either overqualified or underqualifed. Christmas has been cancelled at my house. I have some money put away to get gifts for the kids, all other family members have been notified that we are not gift-giving this year. And since Walmart has jacked butter up to over $4 a lb, my usual baking is off the menu also. Ain't life grand.
Much less, hardly anything. With a job loss we struggle to keep our bills paid. So we will be hitting clearance items/sales and baking goodies for our loved ones. But most of all we will be together celebrating the REAL reason for Christmas. Happy Birthday, Jesus.
10:59 Obama has everything to do with the poor condition of the country.I was fine until this idiot was elected. My family will be spending a lot less, haven't worked in a year. Of course I can understand , it's a culture thing , spend money you don't have or just steal it from the U. S. citizens.
Since loosing my job to outsourcing and finding another job at half the salary, I'll be lucky if I have enough for Christmas dinner! Thank you corporations and thank you to our sell out government!!!!!
Why do you blame the corporations? If Obama wasn't attacking business big and small in this country, they would be hiring people. The bigger the corporation gets the more poeple they need. The smaller the corporation gets the less people they need. The more costs, taxes, stupid regulations, and other burdons you place on corporations, the less poeple they can afford to hire. Simple logic.

I am keeping all of my gift purchasing within a small group of artists marked "handmade".

Less thanks to the furloughs in wicomico county and the politicans spending all of our millions of dollars campagning.
