A highly respected U.S. Air Force 3-star general who commanded forces armed with nuclear weapons says the disclosure of Barack Obama's documentation proving his eligibility to be commander in chief is critical, not just to the defense of an officer challenging the president's status, but to the preservation of the nation itself.
The vehement statements came in an affidavit from retired Lt. Gen. Thomas G. McInerney, a Fox News military analyst, that was disclosed by an organization generating support for Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin.
Lakin had invited his own court-martial because he is unable to follow orders under the chain of command with Obama at its head unless the president's eligibility is documented.
The general, who retired in 1994 after serving as vice commander in chief of USAF forces in Europe, commander of the 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing and assistant vice chief of staff of the U.S. Air Force, among other positions, said the chain of command issue is critical, since officers are obligated both to follow orders and to disobey illegal orders.
"Officers in the United States military service are – and must be – trained that they owe their highest allegiance to the United States Constitution," he said in the affidavit.
"There can be no question that it is absolutely essential to good order and discipline in the military that there be no break in the unified chain of command, from the lowliest E-1 up to and including the commander in chief who is under the Constitution, the president of the United States. As military officers, we owe our ultimate loyalty not to superior officers or even to the president, but rather, to the Constitution."
He continued, explaining, "good order and discipline requires not blind obedience to all orders but instead requires officers to judge – sometimes under great adversity – whether an order is illegal."
A career officer in the U.S. Army acting as a judge in the prosecution of Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin ruled Thursday, however, that the military is not the place for Barak Obama's presidential eligibility to be evaluated.
Army Col. Denise R. Lind ruled in a hearing regarding the evidence to be allowed in the scheduled October court-martial of Lakin that he will be denied access to any of Obama's records as well as any testimony from those who may have access to the records.
With her decision, Lind mirrored a number of federal judges who have ruled on civil lawsuits over Obama's eligibility. They have without exception denied the plaintiffs' access to any requested documentation regarding the president's eligibility.
Lind ruled that it was "not relevant" for the military to be considering such claims, that the laws allegedly violated by Lakin were legitimate on their face and that the chain of command led up to the Pentagon, and that should have been sufficient for Lakin.
She said opening up such evidence could be an "embarrassment" to the president, and it's up to Congress to call for impeachment of a sitting president.

What a surprise. Look who signs his paychecks.
Honestly people, do you think with all the enemies the president has on the right and on the left, that if he would have made it into office if any of this conspiracy crap really had wings?
Yes, becasue it is the LAW to make your records public, and they are supposed to be public when you run for senate... Why if nothing else would his information as a senator be covered up if there was now legality issue here... And EVERYONE who has this information that is legit ALWAYS shows them the facts to prove them wrong and to shut them up...
The president does not do this, why? could be hiding something or he might not... BUT until someone says yeh or neh then you have to assume that all orders by the president are illegal...
P.S.
How come all other presidents from Bush to Washington info is out there wither they were a senator or not... but obama is not?
just like when people think the twin towers attack was by terrorists... it wasn't our own govmt did it... With explosives...
10;09, If I were Obama, I wouldn't try to prove anything to loonies like you either.
10:09 - There is a law to make records public? As Joe likes to say, Prove it!
"How come all other presidents from Bush to Washington info is out there wither they were a senator or not... but obama is not?"
Try a Google search for Senator Obama. Maybe you will find some info then.
Obama created and perpetuates this issue.
Just another feeble mindless attempt by fruit loops who are sore losers, whiners, and an insignificant few. When all is said and done, Obama is STILL their President, so let them cty...
