It is absolutely astounding that in todays age of Big Brother, ANY bank can be robbed much less every bank in the county in less than a year. What is going on????

Running for the boarder. Be careful the Delaware state boys will shoot you.

Sounds like a rental car.

It's the economy. It is breaking down the moral fiber of our society. WE used to get bank robberies occasionally during the winter. Near Christmas. Now people are unable to pay theiir bills all year long. Just like Joe said in the past. It's gonna get a whole lot worse. Regardless of whether or not people have jobs or run out of unemployment, they will feed their families. No matter what it takes. Thanks Obama. You are truly the Savior.

Thanks for letting us know Joe, checked out WMDT they have a quick small blurb with less info than you've posted and watching WBOC at 12..They still have 3 reporters out at different beaches covering the hurrican that's causing these massive 3 foot waves with winds gusting up to 30mph.... we had worse than that with the last thunderstorm!

I quess one of the under paid bank tellers will have to be killed before the banks will spend the money to install the wall protectors like the cities have.

Me and my husband have a been a customer of this bank when it was penisula bank. I know all the tellers and branch manager I feel so sorry for the people working in banks that get robbed that is an experience you never forget. My blessings go out to all the tellers no person deserves this just for trying to nake a honest living.

12:18 you are on target.

I recently went to a new branch of SECU up in Bel Air, there are NO tellers inside. They are behind a wall in another room and you have to use a video phone to make transactions. What a great way to prevent robberies.

So sad ..those poor people trying to make a living , having a gun shoved in their was by a stupid thug..On another note ....What is up with all these young hoodies driving ex-police cars?????? I have been on rt 13 two time this week.. Had to move over a lane due to what i thought was a MD Police cruiser coming up behind me speeding/ when they passed me doing 80-90 it was a young hoodie driving these cars with the MDPD sticker pealed off ???? This happened two different days..Whats this world coming to..Beware people some of these cars could be fake......

It used to be years ago many banks had the glass between the teller and the customer. I think they need to go back to doing that. Maybe they should just lock the doors and make them all drive thru only. If you want to get inside you have to call and show ID. Someone is going to get hurt or even worse.

Joe it seems you need to call wboc and wmdt since Wboc still has nothing about this and WMDT has just they were robbed more details to come.. I thought they were our news channels? You have descriptions of car,tag # and suspects.. I guess if it were in Milton then we would have details from BOC

The direction in which they headed off, or where seen at on rounds road, there is a huge drug house that nothing is being done about. I have a friend, who has been having some trouble in pittsville, by a black male, with them standing and staring into her front door and when she comes to the door they run. Something needs to be done period. The pittsville shorestop from what I was told, was also robbed last week, by a black male! Come someone tell us what will be done to keep our area safe!? I only live about a mile and a half from the pittsville pnc!!

I concur with Kerrie-bank robbers almost always caught thankfully so its pretty dumb to do it in the 1st place.
And Anon 1:15 made a good point, anyone can buy an old cruiser at an auction.

Always caught, how many cold bank robberies and murders do we have here in the past two years.

The bank robberies are not about the economy.

And what's going on with Pittsville-Willards area? Seems like they have their own little crime wave these days.

Letter came home from my kids from Willards Elementary and Pittsville School that it was a code orange not a code red.

Thugs should not be allowed to purchase cruisers..or for that matter anyone else...Its getting bad when you drive down the highway at speed limit and these thugs acting like the police cruise up behind you...You move over and there behind the wheel is a hooded asshole travling 80-90 mph.. Just looking for trouble..I really thought this was a police person and moved out of their way..These idiots are taking over..Come on people it has got to stop..Would you want this pulling over your daughter or wife..It could happen...

You see these punks walking around with their pants down and a hoodie on their head ,,,Well hell-o they now all look alike ... They wouldnt work an honest job if they had one,,Its easier to take from the innocent..I dont know about anyone else but Iam Mad ad hell..Those tellers could have lost their lives...Its Got To Stop...

This is exactly what happens when real JOBS leave the area and poverty and low income jobs are left. Not to mention the lack of law enforcement or news coverage for all this crime leaves the majority of the local public here clueless. For some, even seeing it with their own 2 eyes reported on the news and they'd still deny that crime is high around here. Welcome to the shore. Deny, deny, deny, stupid tourists and come heres.....its all their fault.
