SEVERNA PARK, Md. – Andy Harris released a statement today regarding the Labor Department’s August Jobs Report:“The Jobs Report released today proves, once again, that Nancy Pelosi’s so-called economic stimulus was a failed piece of legislation,” said Andy Harris.
“Unemployment is on the rise and Marylanders are feeling the pain. We need to get our economy moving again by cutting taxes across the board and providing small businesses with the means to create real jobs. Economies grow from the bottom up, not the top down. It is time to stop playing political games with our children’s future and send people to Washington who know what it takes to jumpstart our economy.”
