On August 20, 2010 at approximately 9:48pm, officers responded to 516 Wicomico Street for an unknown problem. On arrival, officers located Kenneth Lee Burke Jr, 31yoa, of 516 Wicomico Street in the front yard bleeding profusely from the chin. It was determined that Burke’s injury is the result of a gunshot. Burke was transported to PRMC-ER by Salisbury EMS and later transferred to Shock Trauma. No further information is available concerning Burke’s injuries at this time.
As the officers secured the scene, a female was found deceased in the kitchen of the downstairs apartment of 516 Wicomico Street. The female has been identified as 27yo Taheerah Naimah Sabr of Salisbury, MD. Sabr was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the investigation is continuing.

This is rediculous, six days later. Everyone and their brother knows what happened there and they wait six days to issue a press release does not say that it was murder suicide attempt. I guess they had to wait till "Jimmy" would approve the press release. SPD has turned into a keystone cop organization and I'm embarassed to say that I ever worked their. They need a Chief with balls and leadership, not the puppett clown they had and have currently have.

Could be a murder-suicide, might not be. Maybe police don't want to declare it that till they talk to the guy in the hospital since that's what the press release says, that they consider him a victim till then.
