Former Maryland Gov. Bob Ehrlich gave a big, fat, “NO!” when asked whether fee increases of any sort would be under consideration in an Ehrlich administration. This is an answer to a big criticism leveled at Ehrlich by his primary opponent AND Democrats.
Incumbent Gov. Martin O’Malley states that he has no intention of raising taxes, but refused to sign a pledge to that effect.

To little to late. Under his leadership as Governor - Marylanders suffered severly with his raising of virtually every known fee in existence. Especially hard hit were our motorist whereby a two year tag increased from $70.00/year to $158/year and sometimes even more depending on the weight class.
And one more thing - if someone doesn't get the Medivac system under control you'll find yourselves having to mortgage your home to support the new fleet of helicopters. FYI - the last time I checked every time a tag is registered I believe $30 of the tag registration goes directly to the medivac.
Murphy is the only true hope for Marylanders.
And then they in-turn send the recipient of service a bill.
Ehrlich already put a fee on our poop! O'Malley reapportioned the funds from that fee.
Ehrlich won't sign a pledge for no more fees - surprise! O'Malley's first act was to raise the sales tax.
Too bad we can't get real candidates to run for election. It would be real nice to have a choice in November.....
He says "no" becuase he took care of raising all the fees he could see the first time around.
At least he learned to never say never.
Sure! He won't raise "taxes". Atleast not the ones being asked about. BUT, he'll probably raise the sales tax AGAIN!
He says no now, but he didn't when he was in office before. GA just keeps carrying the water for Republicans even if they're not real Conservatives.
Vote for a REAL Conservative: Brian Murphy!
