the critics are just jealous because they could never draw the crowds that this event will bring nor do they hold a candle to what Beck is trying to do for this country. it is not just a tea party event it is a true american event

Why is everyone judging the event before it happens. This exactly what is wrong with our culture now. Al Sharpton is grabbing his headlines but if he wanted to make a real statement he would lead his march to the lincoln memorial and support what Glenn is doing> It is about Honor and being proud of being American. Can someone explain to me how that is counter to the message of MLK? This country was made great because of contributions from all past americans regardless of their membership to a smaller group. Liberals are always talking about the "group". Well how about the "group" called Americans.
MLK's niece is involved with Beck's event....how is this ANYTHING like the Mosque issue??!!
I think Beck is trying to make a connection to the Ground Zero Mosque controversy. He is trying to establish that someone who is perceived to be the antithesis of MLK would violate "sacred ground" just as he claims the mosque would do. He thinks he's subtle, and perhaps he is too subtle for most people to even get it. He is one smart dude - disgusting, but smart.
Beck is able to teach history and politics in a manner that even I, with average intelligence can understand.
I will be there Saturday as part of a rally to bring attention for the need to restore some honor and respect for our Country and flag.

First of all, Glenn announced this rally a YEAR AGO!!! That was long before any mosque situation arose. It's time to let go of the political party mentality. Can't you see that America is headed down a path of destruction that we've never been down before! We have got to stop the bleeding before it's too late. We as Americans have completely forgotten what this country was founded on, what made us great and what allowed this righteous nation to succeed. I think that Glenn Beck is trying to bring us back to the founding and this is the only way he knows how. The American people just need to wake up and realize that we can no longer afford not to care and not to be informed and INVOLVED. Our polititians have taken advantage of our lackadaisical attitude toward the workings of our nation, and they have taken us to a place that leads to destruction and the loss of liberty, not only for us but for our precious children and grandchildren. If you are opposed to demanding that our constitution be upheld, or if you are opposed to restoring this nation to it's original founding, then you are opposed to the very concept of what America is. Wake up people, and realize what is really at stake here!!
