I just got off the phone with the dog's owner at 7:20pm.
Only 43 minutes from posting we were able to find out who the dog belonged to! You are the man, Joe.
Apparently the Delmar Animal Control officer retired recently, but the good officers of the Delmar PD are rounding up his equipment and are going to brave the storm to bring the dog to safe shelter.
Thanks again for all you do for our community!

The Delmar Police have rescued that dog and returned her to her owner. Thanks to Eric for sending this in and thank you Joe for posting it. Great work.
This is wonderful. Animals get so disoriented in bad weather & could be miles away from home if no one cares. Thank you.
