The place I work for on Saturdays is vowing to stay open no matter what - thus forcing me to risk driving 28 miles to work in a storm that is advising people to "stay off the roads" or stay home and forfeit $150 that I would have earned. Not a pleasant choice. thanks you jerks.

laughing at all the idiots complaining about everything

I wonder with this storm whether the media will help with getting the 4x4 truck owners to get people to work like they used to do in bad storms several years ago. I think this next storm constitutes doing that to keep the unable vehicles off the road.

To the 9;26 Anon:

IF they declare a state of emergency, it won't matter whether you're supposed to be at work or not. That will be your excuse or risk a hefty fine/jail or both.
At the same time, the people at the store will not be able to leave either, so there won't be any need for new people to come in.

We've had a few conversations the last few days at work about State of Emergency declarations.....
Seems many do not know that that means it is AGAINST THE LAW to be out driving, so listen up and if they make the declaration, STAY HOME or wherever you will be at that time.

Gonna start spring cleaning and wish for sun and warmth. I grew up with snow, don't need to grow old with it.

9:35 - in my earlier post that you responded to about working on Saturday, now that you mention it they did say IF the governor declared a "state of emergency" they would CONSIDER closing. But that is no guarantee. I appreciate the information.
