Chris Davis gave me a tour of the new facility today and I have to tell you Folks, this place is going to be very hard to beat anywhere on the Eastern Shore.
The outdoor bar will seat some 30 people while they'll have additional sections of high top seating and lounge seating throughout.
Large outdoor TV's will be placed just about everywhere for Monday Night Football and other weekly sporting events.
They'll be able to close in the outdoor area during the winter and they've already installed outdoor gas heat.
This place is going to be hopping! For those of you who claimed you didn't want to be around stinky cigars. Well, for one, we're going to take their absolute worst night of the week and SUPPORT this local business by showing up that evening to smoke cigars. Mind you, people will be able to smoke cigars outside during any period, 6 nights a week there won't be a hundred people there smoking cigars at one time. Remember, I said we're going to pick their slowest day of the week.
Chris, thank you for the tour. We appreciate your taking this risk and investing back into Salisbury, especially during such a difficult time. I hope many of you will join us in supporting this business and they expect to have the grand opening in two or three weeks.

The Fountains will have specials. I understand their menu is changing and will be the same in and out. Can not wait until they open. I love to be outside and when I am able to sit and eat outside it is even better.
I would imagine they would allow all smoking except for pot to be outside.
Please do let us know the opening date.

Do everything on gods green earth no to let this turn into Brew River. I would love to see just one nice clean place to go in Salisbury.

yes!! I used to love the outside bar at "Poo River" but the whole places got NASTY and then really ghetto on top of it all! I know they won't let something attached to the Fountains get all ratty.

The Lagoon is located near the Country Inn in Salisbury, across the highway from K-mart. Their staff is so friendly and helpful. If you would like a copy of their menu and specials they can fax them to you. Just Call 410.749.6644.
