Update On Bike Week

I was just informed that one biker was hit by a Pepsi Truck in Ocean City and flown to PRMC. He was conscious when he took flight from Ocean City and we'll keep you updated as we get more information.

Ocean City is "overwhelming with great crowds" and everyone is having a great time. One text message came in asking me how the Winter Place Park Grounds were. They had heard it was muddy, this is completely false. I was there this morning and there's not an ounce of mud anywhere. In fact, I'll post some pictures in a few minutes to prove it.

Enjoy this event Folks and to my fellow bikers, remember, watch everyone else and be defensive. To those in vehicles, please be extra careful this weekend as the bikes are sometimes hard to see. Take the extra second to look a second time before you pull out of anywhere.

I would never ride a motorcycle anywhere on Delmarva. The local drivers around here are horrible. No turn signal usage, drifting from lane to lane and half the time they arent paying attention. A lineman friend has said he has never seen so many electric poles hit in his life and he is from a much larger populated area. Be careful Bikers the locals suck at doing anything other than nothing.

The reason poles are hit around here is because we have poles. Most of the bigger cities have all their lines run underground. Not to mention many of the poles are really TO close to the road. More poles, more chance you will hit them. Seems like comment sense to me.

Wrong!! Have you ever been to other cities before? There are plenty of overhead lines around and they are usually much closer to the road since the area itself has more density(buildings, homes neighborhoods). Unlike here where most poles have plenty of area around them to spare yet the great local drivers seem to still hit them. If you think you know more I can give you the number to my lineman friend and question him.
