Wicomico County is proud to welcome Delmarva Bike Week back to Salisbury for a second year. In order to accommodate the increased two wheeled and four wheeled traffic, additional traffic plans have been put into place. The County Sheriff’s Office will manage the traffic control at major entry and exit points for the festival on Route 50 and Old Ocean City Road as well as working in partnership with Delmarva Bike Week staff to facilitate a smooth event. Extra traffic control points will be at the intersections around the park facility. Additionally, Winterplace Parkway and Blue Ribbon Parkway will be one way for two wheeled traffic from Hobbs Road to Old Ocean City Road throughout the event.

Bikers need to be reminded to clean up after themselves. It was a mess around Stephen Decatur this morning. Have a good time, but don't let a few bad apples spoil the bunch.

I wonder if the various police agencies will be constantly harrassing the bikers as they roll into Ocean City like they did last year, or will they let us come spend our money without all the drama??

I didn't have any problems with police last year, the ones I saw were friendly and helpful. Then again, I try to be a considerate rider.
