Hey Chiefy, How's That Don't Ask, Don't Tell Policy Working For Ya?

You see, if the Daily Times doesn't ask, Chief Webster doesn't tell them what's going on. However, our pictures DON'T lie. More graffiti continues to plague the City of Salisbury and Gangs have taken over the streets. However, if you're a Daily Times Subscriber, you wouldn't know that now, would you?

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge eastbound is shut down at this time due to a car accident. Backup is approx. 5 - 7 miles right now, if not more.

Let's Set The Record Straight On Jason Chance's DUI Hit & Run

I just want to set the record straight on this situation. One, yes, he has been suspended with pay, like it or not. His badge, gun and vehicle have been taken away and he has absolutely NO Police Powers whatsoever any more.

Secondly, HE WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT! If it were any different I would have stated such.

The rumors and nasty messages someone has been trying to put through is ridiculous. Now Look, I have rejected probably 50 nasty comments from either Police Officers OR their Wives. Enough is enough of this crap.

If you think I'm going to let through any more messages of such you're sadly mistaken. Haven't you noticed they're NOT going up? Get the hint, YOU IDIOTS! GROW UP!

I'm walking away from my computer for a few hours because quite frankly I'm sickened by this kind of childish behavior. YOU'RE wasting my time and I don't appreciate it. I spend 16 hours a day trying to deliver good information and weeding through ALL of the comments. I am NOT a babysitting service to grown adults. START ACTING LIKE ONE FOR ONCE!

The Salisbury Police Department Will Be Losing Officers Left & Right

While the Maryland State Police and the Department of Natural Resources, (DNR) are losing a ton of Officers due to retirement, at least 12 SPD Officers have put in their resumes to these departments and are doing what they can to get out of Salisbury.

Lord knows Chief Webster will probably file another lawsuit against me on this one trying to get access to my sources on this matter but if he hasn't learned yet, I will again refuse to give out such said sources.

Morale is at an all time low in the SPD and who can blame them? The Chief should step down and someone needs to step in immediately and take back the City against gangs, prostitution and drug dealers. Granted, the stats will go up for the time being but proactive police work is what is necessary right now.

So much for the SPD being fully Staffed any more. The Academy classes are getting smaller and smaller and it is becoming very difficult today to get qualified applicants to consider joining any of the Police Departments any more. You should have kept these guys/gals happy Mayor, Chief, Comegys, Smith & Shields! Don't say you weren't warned here first.

New Toyota Truck

Toyota has released photos of it's 09 truck series.
The company says that given it's new engine and drive train designs, fuel efficiency is unsurpassed.
Toyota says customers should start placing their orders now, as they expect that the popularity of these new vehicles to outsell supply at a much more aggressive pace, due to today's high fuel costs.

Major Breaking News

Sgt. Jason Chance of the Wicomico County Sheriff's Department was involved in a hit & run accident and has been charged with a DUI last night, early this morning. The information is just coming in on this but he was Off Duty and he is being charged and processed by the Maryland State Police as the investigation has in fact been turned over to the MSP.

There were no injuries and the accident occurred on Northumberland Drive. The Wicomico County Sheriff's Department has a policy, (like all Police Departments) of a no tolerance rule in which Sgt. Chance has allegedly been removed from duty. I can assure you, Mr. Chance will be terminated.

Major Breaking News

RIVER FEST HAS BEEN CANCELLED!

Do tell me, when will ALL of you get it? The Mayor of the City of Salisbury has completely screwed up the City so bad we have watched the Festival of Lights at Christmas completely disappear, the 4th of July Celebration had to be taken over by the County and now River fest has been cancelled. Even as the Jaycees and the Chamber of Commerce work so hard at trying to bring these events together with very little help from the City, sewage spills have drawn such bad press that this event has been cancelled.

I have tried for years to ask anyone, please tell me what good this Mayor has done for the Citizens of Salisbury and quite frankly Folks, I can't think of a thing! Developers have been on the financial award end of the City and the taxpayers have been completely screwed.

Let's not forget the City Council's involvement in their decisions favoring and rubber stamping anything and everything the Mayor has desired and this Housewife has taken this City into the dumps of society.

Our earlier Post about Gangs, that's a big deal Folks. Think about it. If it weren't for Salisbury News, (respectfully) none of you would be aware of the WWTP Sludge Pit. None of you would have been aware of these sewage spills. None of you would be aware of all the graffiti all over the City. The list goes on and on and while the Mayor had control of the Daily Times and what was said and or not said, everyone has been clueless and the Mayor and Council got away with it for years and years.

The Blogs have changed the way of thinking locally and it's no wonder so many people are coming here every day. Yeah, I agree, there's been a lot of very tough Posts on this Blog but you know what, we've had to fight fire with fire. I took all the risks getting the information out there for everyone to become educated. Many very good people, (the Dirty Dozen) tried sticking their necks on the line for all of you to try and educate you as well and for the longest time Mayor Tilghman bullied her way through and over these people.

Those days are now over and Ladies & Gentlemen, IT'S TIME TO TAKE BACK YOUR STREETS! It's time to recognize that Public Safety is Job One! No, grand $10,000,000.00 Fire Stations are NOT what I'm talking about. I'm talking about new Leaders that will wear the very same Uniform the people working underneath them are wearing. I'm talking about delivering the salaries promised and riding of Council Members that have flat out screwed those people protecting YOUR investment.

If you run a piss poor business, everyone from the top down cannot do their job properly if they're lied to and then told, tough luck! The Zoo does NOT need a $2,000,000.00 Animal Services Building. STOP ALL Developer Reimbursements! Get a Task Force to eliminate the crime and gangs in this City. If you don't see the writing on the wall, well, then you're just flat out stupid and or you just don't care.

Look at the West side of the City and see what this Mayor and Council are doing. They want OUT of Downtown Salisbury. They refuse to sign the contract for $1.00 for their half of the GOB. WHY? Because the Mayor wants to rebuild everything on the West side of the City and completely change the entire history of Salisbury. The land is cheap and if you write up enough of the Black people on the West side, they'll no longer be able to afford to keep up their properties and they're be forced to relocate. This Mayor is NOT stupid.

So you either protect this City and get her ass out of Office and don't even consider Gary Comegys or whomever they hand pick to become the next Mayor and you go with YOUR choice this time. It means voting and it means taking back the City and being patient because it's going to take many years to clean up her mess.

How many more of YOUR activities are going to be taken away by this Administration? How many more people have to die or get hurt in the 10th Most Dangerous City In America? How many more cars need to get stolen? How many more break ins and robberies are you going to put up with? How many homes are you going to allow having 5 or 10 people living in them illegally?

Just like Sheriff Lewis has stepped in to help fight crime in the City of Salisbury, now the County Executive Rick Pollitt has also stepped in to save the 4th of July Celebration. We need the MDE to come in and save our River, hopefully that will happen soon? In the mean time, River fest is toast, done, gone, over, thanks to Barrie Tilghman and the City Council. Enough is Enough!

New McDonalds Near State Motor Vehicle Administration

Joe:

As a resident on the east side of Salisbury and a frequent visitor to McDonalds, I have to inform you that the McDonalds located on the east side of Salisbury, next to the State Motor Vehicle Administration, has to be one of the worse run McDonalds in their entire chain.

A few days ago I visited the McDonalds at 8:00 a.m. and one of the front doors were locked. The door on the Drive-in side was unlocked, but their main entry door was inadvertently left locked. I thought no problem I'll just inform one of the employees to unlock it when I place my order. Well, when I informed the employee she just shrugged me off and said that because of other kitchen problems that she would tend to it latter.

Well guess what happened this morning. I walked-in placed my order and sat down and their laying on each table were dead flies. Then, I saw one of their employees spraying RAID on the exterior windows while customers were sitting in the booths trying to eat their breakfast.

And then again just a couple of days before that I entered the eatery and at prime time of 8:00 a.m. one of their employees was scrubbing and mopping the floors right in front of the cash registers and the entire floor was wet. You talk about a lot of disgruntled customers. . . you should have seen their faces.

Apparently, there is absolutely no management at this facility and I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Hey Chiefy, Do You STILL Believe There Are NO GANGS In Salisbury?

GO HERE and view the videos shot right here in Salisbury. There are several to choose from but my favorites are titled, "Automatic" and "Poose."

I need to WARN YOU, do NOT turn your volume up too loudly and or do NOT watch this around children!

Here's what I'd like to know. After you view some of these videos, do come back here and tell me if the City of Salisbury has enough Police Officers on Staff and or how MOTIVATED they are by the Mayor and Chief denying them their pay increases that they were promised?

When I sent the link to Mayor Barrie Tilghman, here's what I got back immediately.

Utility Workers Hired As Stasi Informants In Colorado, California, Arizona

I found this article today while surfing, and I watched the YouTube Video that went with it. The link jammed up the network so I'm not going to post it, but if you do a YouTube Search using this title, I will assure you will wonder if you are living in America anymore. This is a must see, must read!

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
Wednesday, July 2, 2008

Hundreds of police, firefighters, paramedics and utility workers have been trained and recently dispatched as “Terrorism Liaison Officers” in Colorado, Arizona and California to watch for “suspicious activity” which is later fed into a secret government database.

According to a Denver Post report, “It’s a tactic intended to feed better data into terrorism early-warning systems and uncover intelligence that could help fight anti-U.S. forces. But the vague nature of the TLOs’ mission, and their focus on reporting both legal and illegal activity, has generated objections from privacy advocates and civil libertarians.

“Suspicious activity” is broadly defined in TLO training as behavior that could lead to terrorism: taking photos of no apparent aesthetic value, making measurements or notes, espousing extremist beliefs or conversing in code, according to a draft Department of Justice/Major Cities Chiefs Association document.”

“We don’t snoop into private citizens’ lives. We aren’t living in a communist state,” claims Lt. Tony Lopez, commander of Denver’s intelligence unit - but the program bears close parallels to the East German Stasi system, which at its height employed one informant for every seven citizens.

Democracy Now interviewed the Denver Post writer and an ACLU representative about the program. It is also reminiscent of the supposedly canned 2002 Operation TIPS program, which would have turned 4 per cent of Americans into informants under the jurisdiction of the Justice Department.

TIPS lived on in other guises, such as the Highway Watch program, a $19 billionHomeland Security-run project which trains truckers to watch for suspicious activity on America’s highways.

More recently, ABC News reported that “The FBI is taking cues from the CIA to recruit thousands of covert informants in the United States as part of a sprawling effort…..to aid with criminal investigations.”

Since authorities now define mundane activities like buying baby formula, beer, wearing Levi jeans, carrying identifying documents like a drivers license and traveling with women or children or mentioning the U.S. constitution as the behavior of potential terrorists, the bounty for the American Stasi to turn in political dissidents is sure to be too tempting to resist.

Indeed, last month Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers and the New York Times heartily celebrated the fact that an increasing number of Americans are becoming informants and turning in their neighbors and family members to the authorities in return for cash rewards.

Citing gas prices, foreclosure rates and runaway food price inflation, The Times lauded the fact that citizens are reporting on each other, ensuring “a substantial increase in Crime Stopper-related arrests and recovered property, as callers turn in neighbors, grandchildren or former boyfriends in exchange for a little cash.”

As any budding dictator will tell you, the creation of an informant society where individuals self-regulate their behavior in fear of being turned in by a citizen spy is one of the key stepping stones to tyranny. To have the media celebrate the fact that people are reporting on their neighbors and grandchildren puts the icing on the cake.

Question of the Day, Thur 7/3

Today is "Stay out of the Sun" Day.

Do you work in the sun? Do you go to the tanning bed? Do you protect yourself from the harmful rays of the sun?

Follow Up On Graffiti

A month ago a friend alerted me to some graffiti which was tagged on the business that he works at. The post can be found HERE. Joe's no division article can be found HERE. I went back today and traversed parts of the tracks and found more graffiti of the same type and the "no division" junk. Again all the tagging was done on places of business and the third pic down was on the opposite side of the fence separating the tracks and the parking lot of the business.

It is ridiculous that these businesses have to pay to get this junk cleaned off. More graffiti was on the dumpsters being used where they are tearing down the buildings next to Hardees across from SU. I wonder who the cost to get this stuff cleaned off continually gets passed on to?

I only traversed from UP to the Pawn Shop and saw lot of it. I'm guessing it's up and down these tracks. Around Giant things get a little enclosed and thought it was best not to travel by myself through that section. But one thing for sure, these punks need to caught. Again, most likely imo, they are HS aged kids. Businessmen be aware and angry!

Punks like this get bolder and bolder with where they tag. Where will they strike next? I know I've seen the no division stuff all over town on my runs and hiking. What the hell does that mean?

On A Better Note...

For the first time ever I saw this spectacled bear not pacing back and forth along the wall and I was able to see its face for the first time. Quite the crowd gathered around the bear and the kids loved seeing it fairly up close.

And to countrygirl@heart I just remembered, couldn't place it when I was originally writing this post, that the bear is OCD after it was separated from it's mother.

Hypocrisy And The Mare

Joe,

How do you spell HYPOCRITE?

I received, in today’s mail, the annual WATER QUALITY REPORT from Her Honor Barrie P Tilghman You might say, so what! everyone in the city got this piece. Well, I live in Quantico, Maryland, Zip code 21856. I am, at best, six or seven miles from the nearest Salisbury water line. Did she send this report to everyone in the county? If so, why, and at what cost.

Now to the hypocrite part;

I quote from the mayor’s letter….

Bottled Waters Environmental Toll
"It took the equivalent of 17 million barrels of oil to create the 900,000 tons of plastic used to bottle water in the United States last year. That’s enough to fuel over 1 million cars for a year. The manufacturing of plastic created 2.5 million tons of carbon dioxide released into our environment. Almost 90% of those plastic bottles ended up being thrown into the trash instead of recycling. A bottle of water that takes just three minutes to drink can take up to a thousand years to biodegrade. What can we do to stop all of this waste? The answer is simple, choose tap water.“

She goes on to say that, “Our water is consistently monitored to ensure that the quality is maintained and that the City’s drinking water is excellent and reliable.”

I would imagine the only time tap water crosses her lips, is when it has a sufficient amount of alcohol in it.

You don't even want to get me started on the water quality of the river.

Hypocrisy at it’s best!

WCLCB - Two Cents for Socialism

In a recent post on the Wicomico County Liquor Control Board I was amazed to see this comment posted on Salisbury News:

I'm not hearing any reasons or logic in your post as to why privitization (sic) would be beneficial ...just a lot of rethortic (sic). Nice try though G.A.
The commenter, "two cents", has been a recent shill for Haemel, Alessi & Co. over at the WCLB (while claiming that he's NOT Haemal). I certainly don't expect everyone to agree with me, but some of the arguments coming from the pro-dispensary people are actually frightening.

If you are an employee of the WCLCB (or your pockets are being filled in some other manner) I can understand why you want to keep dispensaries. I'm sure criminals have a justification for their chosen occupation, so why not someone working for a legal entity regardless of the legitimacy of that entity.

If you believe the FALSE rhetoric coming from the WCLCB about a liquor store on every corner, or the Wicomico taxpayer losing $400,000 a year in revenue, I can understand your concern. It is the job of the proponents of privatization (like myself) to present the facts rather than to promulgate fear and falsehood using taxpayer money as Messrs. Haemel and Alessi are doing.

Let's assume for a moment that "two cents" is truly just a concerned Wicomico citizen. Let's also assume that he/she is sincere in their belief. This is cause for great concern.

How can a person honestly believe that it is a moral action to use taxpayer funds to buy political advertisement? Do you wish Gov. Martin O'Malley to use your tax dollars to buy billboards saying "VOTE MARTIN"? How about County Executive Rick Pollitt using your money to buy a weekly radio show whose sole purpose is to provide propaganda for his re-election in 2010? Of course you wouldn't, unless you are so partisan that ANY action by your favorite politician is acceptable. Yet, we are expected to believe that regular citizens like you or I are supposed to accept the WCLCB using taxpayer money to buy newspaper ads, or fancy postcards to be distributed at the dispensaries and COUNTY OFFICES.

People like "two cents" argue that this is not taxpayer money. "two cents" is WRONG. Political propaganda IS NOT a LEGITIMATE EXPENSE! Therefore, that money should have gone to the profit of the WCLCB. Therefore, that money should have gone to us as taxpayers.

The fact that this current board is using taxpayer funds for political propaganda infers their corruption, if not the innate corruption of the dispensary system. Some could argue that the best action would then be to replace the WCLCB with those more competent and worthy of the taxpayers' trust (the old baby / bath water argument). However, we still come back to "two cents" quote at the beginning of this post:

I'm not hearing any reasons or logic in your post as to why privitization (sic) would be beneficial...

Privatization is almost always beneficial. Government-owned business is a classic example of socialism. It's hard enough to fight the creeping form that we see every day in our federal and state governments; but how many people are going to make an honest argument that our government should be in the retail business?

If you wish to argue that we need dispensaries to adequately regulate distribution of the devil rum - fine. Be careful for what you wish for.

Those arguments, if valid, apply far more to the distribution of prescription drugs than to alcohol. Therefore, using the same logic, we need to put Wal-Mart, Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, Giant, and myriad other locally-owned and chain pharmacies out of the prescription business. Only the government can do that job, right?

If this were so, why are these companies trying to build a drug store on every other corner? At least with liquor distribution the Liquor Licensing Board will have a say as to how many liquor stores we will have in Wicomico County and where.

Read Hayek's The Road to Serfdom. Socialism leads (at best) to a reduction in our individual liberty. Usually, it makes us SLAVES.

Note -
for those shills of the WCLCB that will attempt to counter by claiming that my argument means that we would (or should) have liquor stores with at least the same frequency that we have pharmacies, PLEASE DON'T TRY. I'm an American conservative, not a libertarian. There are valid reasons for zoning laws and the regulation in the awarding of liquor licenses (just as there are valid laws to regulate pharmacies).

The Daily Times Keeps Hitting Record Lows

Believe it or not. . . Gannett just broke into the $19/Share trading range. GCI now trading at $19.91.

I've been tracking this stock for years and I've never seen it trading at these levels.

Check it out:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=GCI

Is the Daily Times being used as a tool to get even?

I've been trying to go to settlement on an investment property for a long time now and we just can't get it to happen. The financing is set and everything is in place........ except for one thing. The way it was explained to me, the legal advertising section of the Daily Times has failed to get the proper paperwork to the court certifying that the advertisement ran in the paper as required by law. I was advised that the person in charge of this section is none other than Shanie Shields. It gets better. I was told told that while my atty. was asking the clerk about the hold up, the clerk called Shanie and asked about the paperwork and Shanie advised the clerk that she would personally deliver the paperwork. That apparently never happened. It gets better yet. A couple of days later my atty. went back to the clerks office after making several phone calls to the atty. who handled the foreclosure. As fate would have it, when my atty got there, the atty handling the foreclosure was also there and was slightly irritated by the fact that the proper paperwork had not been sent by the Daily Times. Much to my atty's. surprise he learned that the atty. handling this foreclosure is the same atty who handled Shanies foreclosure. That leaves me with a few questions. Did Shanie run the legal ad for the forclosure of her own house? If so, did she make a mental note of the atty. handling her forclosure? Did she notice that this foreclosure was being handled by the same atty that handled hers? If so, did she purposely withold the certification from the court to "punish" the atty? I don't know the answer to these questions but I certainly have my suspicions. Don't you?

Oh..... I do have another question. WHERE IN THE HELL IS THE CERTIFICATION, DAILY TIMES?!?! Maybe this is one of the reasons their stock is plummeting.

UPDATE, STOP!

BEFORE
I have just been informed that the Stop Sign posted earlier this morning has been removed and is being relocated back further. How many people do YOU think are following Salisbury News now?

AFTER

Did You Hear About 12 To 15 Gun Shots Last Night In Salisbury?

"7/1/08 9:25 PM 710 Oak Hill Av Firearms Incident 200800023094 Unfounded" That's what's listed on the Salisbury Police Departments Website, UNFOUNDED.

However, there were multiple calls that went into the SPD about these gun shots going off and because they didn't find any shell casings, it's unfounded.

Boy Chiefy, you sure do know how to report things to the State without looking too awfully bad, eh? We can't find the shells, so it obviously never happened and the people calling into the Station should be arrested for giving false information, RIGHT?

I'll Bet Many Of You Didn't Know This?

Delmar is quite the unique Town, or should I say, Towns? As you look at the photo above, this is an image Monday night of the Town Council Meeting. What was quite interesting was the fact that in the very center of the tables were TWO Mayor's. Every time Delmar has a Council Meeting, both Delmar, Delaware and Delmar, Maryland meet at the same time.

If you have business with Maryland you simply face to the right and in Delaware you face to the left. I thought it was pretty cool when the Maryland Mayor was looking for documents, the Delaware Mayor looked in his briefing materials and handed it to the other Mayor to help move things forward.

On the Delaware side, they're looking to fill one of the seats on their Town Council and some people were joking around that their Council Members don't always show up. In fact, that evening one seat was obviously empty but after 15 minutes or so another Council Member left the meeting apparently not feeling well, so they couldn't vote on anything because they didn't have a quorum.

So if you live in the Town of Delmar, Delaware, perhaps you'd be interested in filling that empty seat? It should also be noted that their meetings don't start till 7:00, when Citizens can actually make it to the meeting without excuses, unlike Salisbury. Also take note of the schedule/agenda below. And Louise, Gary & Shanie complain, (making the BIG bucks) about having meetings that last longer than 2 hours!

More Breaking News

The Salisbury Police Department just nailed one of three suspects breaking into a home on Marion Street. They do have one suspect in custody and are looking for the other two. Great Work Guys!

The Daily Times Phone Call

Now this gets interesting. I just received a phone call from the Daily Times telling me they did receive my e-mail complaining about my Sunday Paper. I stopped her and said, my e-mail? She replied, yes, the Editor received my complaint and she wanted me to know I was receiving a $2.00 Credit for my paper being so messed up.

That's interesting because I NEVER sent the Daily Times an e-mail complaining! ROTFLMAO! Peek A Boo, I See You! LOL The Daily Times has once again proven they are following Salisbury News and read my Post. Thanks for the credit but I didn't know I'm now paying $2.00 for a Sunday Paper?

BREAKING NEWS!

There was a vehicle stolen locally at a ATM Machine. The owner was withdrawing some money and left the vehicle running. GET THIS! The vehicle has a GPS System in it and they are right now in the Pittsville on Laws Road and just turned onto Wongo Road! That's right, they're following the vehicle as we speak. I believe the SPD, WCSO and MSP are tracking it down.

THIS IS SO COOL! I'll keep you updated and posted.

UPDATE: The vehicle is a dark blue Chevy Malibu last noted in the Wango Road area.

UPDATE #2: The vehicle is a 2008 Malibu with a laptop and two cell phones inside. Indemnity Insurance Company is tracking the vehicle but not doing a very good job working with Police Agencies to allow them to lock into their own GPS Systems to get a better local signal.

Princess Anne In Harmony Again

Ladies & Gentlemen, you've heard me say this before and I'm going to have to repeat myself, this is a wonderful Town, Princess Anne.

I encourage all of you to go one time and visit a Council Meeting there and watch the harmony between the entire Council. The respect these individuals have for one and other is second to none, seriously.

Yesterday, Salisbury News exclusively covered in the swearing in ceremony of Mr. Dennis Williams and Mr. Frank White, outdoors in their local Park. Frank White was unanimously sworn in once again as President of the Town Commissioners.

It should be noted that Mr. John Wade was again nowhere to be found.

Mayor Mike McDermott Comments on X-Councilman Honiss Cane's 30-Day Notice to Remove Untagged Cars December 30th 2007

According to Pocomoke City Mayor Mike McDermott, X-Councilman Honiss Cane was served proper notice to remove the untagged vehicle at his former residence on 103 Fourth Street, December 30th 2007. Pocomoke Police Dept uses a generic notice sent certified mail addressed to "occupant" to inform citizens of these violations. The City Attorney has publicly stated that a "car cover" is not adequate under the code.

Crooked City Manager "Boss Hogg" Russ Blake has retained Chief Ervin after his contract expired Monday June 30th who cannot enforce a simple untagged car law or close the open air drug market which has long been rumored to be connected to (owned & operated by) the Honiss Cane family.Honetown Car Cover
March 28th 2008 Mayor Mike McDermott sent me the following e-mail in response to my personal challenge to the Mayor stating that he was powerless to do anything as either the Mayor or a Sworn Law Enforcement Office:

Fri, 28 Mar 2008 13:44:03 -0400 (EDT) (envelope-from mayormcdermott@cityofpocomoke.com)
Billy,He will not get away with anything.Godspeed,Mike

**********************

What is that in the photo above?

Tom Ayres is handcuffed and taken to jail on day 31 of his 30-day notice, because he helped a few drug dealers get busted by a *REAL* law enforcement agency about the same time the Mayor sent me this note on Cane.

One man who is against the open air drug market goes to jail while another man who is allegedly a drug kingpin behind the same open air drug market AND City Council person illegally retaining his seat with the full support of our openly corrupt city government, has NOTHING HAPPEN. Cane is thumbing his nose and waving his middle finger to each and every decent citizen of Pocomoke City.

Mayor McDermott you lied last March when you said "he will not get away with anything..."

Mayor McDermott you are the figure head of one of the most openly corrupt municipal governments in the USA. (Boss Hogg Russ Blake still pulls your strings when he wants you to dance)

Please explain to the citizens whom you placed their hope & faith into why you have lied to them and joined the forces of evil in Pocomoke City...

Inquiring minds want to know.

WCSO Press Releases

Incident: Possession of Marijuana
Date of Incident: 1 July 2008
Location: U.S. 13 northbound, S/OF Rt. 50, Salisbury, MD
Suspects: Justin W. Fritz, 25, Philadelphia, PA

Narrative: On 1 July 2008, a deputy traveling northbound on the U.S. 13 bypass observed a Volkswagen Jetta that slowed abruptly in the travel lane when the deputy approached from the rear. The deputy stopped the vehicle after determining the vehicle was maintaining a speed considerably below the 65 mph speed limit and identified the driver as Justin W. Fritz of Philadelphia, PA. Upon making contact with the Fritz, the deputy detected several clues that led the deputy to believe that Fritz would be in the possession of some sort of illegal drugs. Upon searching the vehicle, the deputy located an empty pill bottle that still contained evidence of marijuana storage along with two smoking devices, also with evidence of recent marijuana use. Based on these findings the deputy arrested Fritz for possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.

Fritz was transported to the Central Booking Unit at the Wicomico County Detention Center where he was processed and charged. After an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner, Fritz was released on Personal Recognizance.

Date of Incident: 1 July 2008
Location: Snow Hill Road at E. Main Street, Salisbury, MD
Suspects: Eric Craig Collins, 33, Frankford, DE

Narrative: On 1 July 2008, a deputy stopped a vehicle operated by Eric Collins for displaying an expired registration plate. Upon further investigation by the deputy, it was determined that the plate actually belonged on a vehicle different than what Collins was operating and Collins’ vehicle was actually both unregistered and uninsured. Additionally, the deputy discovered that Collins’ driver’s license was suspended in both Delaware and Maryland. The deputy arrested Collins for these violations and transported Collins to the Central Booking Unit.

Collins was processed and charged with the traffic offenses and taken before the District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance, after which Collins was held in the Detention Center on $10,000.00 bond.

Incident: Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute
Date of Incident: 1 July 2008
Location: U.S. 13 S/B at Coulbourne Mill Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspects: Lawrence C. McKenzie, 43, Columbia, SC

Narrative: On 1 July 2008, a deputy from the WCSO Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team stopped a vehicle operated by Lawrence McKenzie for speeding on U.S. 13 in the area of Coulbourne Mill Road in Salisbury, MD. While speaking with Mckenzie, the deputy observed indicators that led the deputy to believe that criminal activity was afoot. A K9 scan of the vehicle yielded a positive alert for the presence of illegal drugs which caused the deputy to search McKenzie’s vehicle. During the search, the deputy located a quarter kilogram of cocaine hidden inside a tide detergent box. During an interview, McKenzie declared that he was en-route to South Carolina from New York with the Cocaine.

McKenzie was arrested and transported to the Central Booking Unit at the Wicomico County Detention Center where he was processed and charged with:

1. Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute
2. Transporting Cocaine into Maryland
3. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
After an initial appearance in front of a District Court Commissioner, McKenzie was held on $300,000.00 bond.

Give A False Name, Go Directly To Jail!

While there were three Police Agencies at the scene, (SPD, MSP & WCSO) these people were pulled over for dead tags. When one of the Officers asked for his name he lied and gave them a fictitious name and the lies just kept going.

The woman pictured was eventually released on the scene but she made quite a scene screaming and yelling and quite frankly if I was one of the Officers on the scene she would have gone right into the back of one of those cars and hauled away as well. However, the wisdom and experience as well as patience these Officers have today was very clear as they simply worked through it and the woman came to learn they were breaking the law and that's final.

Wayne Barrall from Fire In The Hole delivered these photos as we were both on the scene but he had the camera, I had the Harley. Hopefully a Press Release comes out soon with additional information on this incident.

O'Malley Abolishes Independence Day

July 4th is no longer Independence Day in Maryland. Put away the flag, break out the bait. July 4th is now "Take Me Fishing Day" in the People's Republic.

Cheeky Humor for the Day (Stats are a little Disconcerting)

The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000
Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.
Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.
Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health Human Services.

Now think about this:

The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million..)
The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.
The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188
Statistics courtesy of FBI

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.
Looks to me like we must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!

Out of concern for the public at large, I have withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention
