Question of the Day, Thur 7/3

Today is "Stay out of the Sun" Day.

Do you work in the sun? Do you go to the tanning bed? Do you protect yourself from the harmful rays of the sun?

I used to tan religiously every summer, and would get so brown I looked like a gingerbread girl, but no more. It only took one time having plastic surgery to remove a very aggressive basal cell carcinoma from my face to convince me to stay out of the sun. Now, years later, I have sun damage all over my arms and legs in the form of raised brown splotches, plus one on my face. Nope, no more tanning for me.

I have red hair and freckles...genetics made sure I am not a sun goddess!! :)

My mom used to cover herself in baby oil and bake.....now she wishes she had known better!

I just found out that I'm allergic to lotion. I don't know what it is in lotion that I'm allergic to, though....Might be regular lotion, might be lotion with SPF. I have no idea, so no sun for me :(
