A Viewer Writes: Dan Satterfield WBOC
"He just said the snow is done for the northern part of Delmarva. And another two inches for Salisbury. Totaling 2-3 inches. Hey Dan quit guessing from a computer and look outside. We already have almost 3 " now! Another 2 makes 5"!

And the fish jumped clean over the boat. And it was a bigun.
When it was snowing it's hardest at my house in Fruitland, WBOC had backed down their prediction to 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches for Wicomico County. At that time, it looked like we already had 2 inches.
I'm not hateful towards him. But having lived in Washington, D.C for 12 years, I find him to be kind've a country bumpkin, get a good laugh at his forecasts. And his weather gives him leeway to say he's right no matter what happens most the time. He's not real good. But better than that gothe chick on WMDT.
I'm in Salisbury right now plowing lots and there's 2-3 inches on the parking lots tops. So wboc n dan got it exactly right 2-3 for Salisbury. The "facebook" weather men all said 5-8. I'd say they were wrong. And also there's grass numbers and parking lot numbers usually grass has more than lots.
We seem to get the rejects from other areas, that come here to finish out their careers like Bob Burnett Currie, or this Dan Satterfield. It's not a secret that the Delmarva Peninsula has some of the most stable weather in the nation. From Cape May New Jersey to Norfolk Va is in that triangle noted by author James Michener having the most stable weather in another words, its boring. That's why old weathermen come here to die!

i live around the airport and it's no more than 2" at 5:00.
Just looked at the radar and the entire eastern shore is snowing. Just talked to someone in Dover and they have 5 inches and snowing hard.

Dan the weatherman just looked out the door at WBOC so I heard at the 7pm report! My bones had previously predicted 4" and I think my bones won!

They have always given the excuse that we live between the ocean and the bay and that makes it twice as hard to predict the weather here.
