Where would this country be if Peter Cottontail got cottonmouth?
Matt Fairbanks, an agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration's "marijuana eradication" team in Utah, testified to a state Senate panel last week, and said rabbits could get addicted to pot, lose their natural instincts and sit around getting high all the time should a bill pass that would allow medical marijuana edibles in the state.
Fairbanks testified in opposition to the bill, and spent some of his testimony splitting hares, according to The Washington Post. He claimed that illegal pot farms could have bad environmental consequences, and said he saw rabbits addicted to weed at illegal grow sites.

And this is what the DEA is left whining about. Looks like those folks are trying to keep their jobs, rather than recognize reality.
Waste of tax dollars to justify themselves.
Well, Thumper always was a little slow, but what about Bambi?
The agencies create in my lifetime ENERGY..DEA ATF HLS are all useless bloated government tax suckers adding to our problems with this kinda non sense..wasting our $$..so instead of more factories we get more useless agencies sucking the life from freedom
Funions and pizza bites for everyone this Easter!
I am going out on a limb here and suggest that rabbits and marijuana plants have been successfully living together for a very, very long time.
Sorry DEA. The bunnies can't get high by eating the plants. That is biologically impossible. The psychoactive components of cannibas are only released by smoking it or cooking it with oil.
4:07 don't know where you got your research from but you can get high by eating cannabis, it just takes longer to get into your system! Cannabis does not have to be heated to a certain temperature to release the THC in the plant in order to get high! I have seen people sprinkle it on pizza and salads to get high!
I beg to differ. I've ate a bag or ten in my life to avoid jail. I don't mess with commercial weed or brick pot. I can assure you that you can get right by eating it.
Rabbits run like hell when I get near my pot plants. Don't seem stoned to me! Now the deer, that's a different story. They stand their ground.
Mr. Fairbanks is not a scientist, let alone a trained credible researcher. He's talking out of his ass.
Pot is not addictive.
AWESOME...rabbits with NO CANCER!! Bring it on dude!!
I'm not sure why but this site is loading extremely slow for me.
Is anyone else having this issue or is it a issue on my end?
I'll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
