what happens when americans get to lazy to work. Farmers in AL can't find americans to fill the jobs vacated by the illegals who left due to the new laws there. Google it. To all the go backs comments: Where did you come from? Unless you're a native american indian, you are an immigrant too.

Is your first sentence a question or a statement10:23? Your argument makes no sense. Just because farmers in Alabama and basically every other state use migrant workers does not mean Americans will not take those jobs. Last time I checked you rarely see farmers advertise for help because the system allows them to bypass citizens and use cheaper migrant labor. No shame on the farmer, only the politicians who have allowed things to get this way. For instance your argument about AL, recently they outlawed the use of CASH for second hand goods so I would hardly use this as a model state for your example lol. My forefathers came from both Europe and America thanks for asking.

10:23
My family has been here since before it was even the USA. It used to be people came here for a better life. Now they come here with their hands held out and expect us to take care of them. Then they want us to change our ways to suit them. Look at this country now. We have changed so much pretty soon we will be a 3rd world country because we let all these illegals dictate how they want things changed. There are plenty of prisoners in Alabama that can do the work. The only thing that tells me is that there are A LOT of illegals in Alabama. If they want to come here do it legally like others have.

10:23....illegal and legal are the two words you need to grasp. There is a difference.

Believe it or not, many Mexicans within the U.S. ARE legal.

I think what 10:23 was referring to was the recent news (last week) from Alabama news sources. Farmers are facing a serious dilemma in that workers are showing up to harvest the crops before they spoil in the fields. Some believe that this is the result of Alabama's new anti-immigration laws and the lack of American interest in doing this kind of work.
