I live on Priscilla right up the street and there are still large gangs of teenagers all up and down the street. The police have been byt several times, but the teens are still around.

This street corner,by the old townhomes, has been sore spot for YEARS.Drug sales, fights, etc.Do some research and you will find a few murders right on that block in recent history,as well as assaults and robberies.

I feel bad for the old folks living around there.

This is what happens when all of our jobs disappeared.

The only jobs left that pay anything are the drug diseminators.

This is what happens when the family unit breaks down. Slobs on welfare having children with multiple "baby daddies" who then do the disappearing act.

This is what happens when the parents are criminals, drug and alcohol abusers themselves.

I'm with 7:55 more than with 7:11 on this. Most of those who have nothing better to do than to engage in street-corner fighting would probably not have been among the employed anyway even if there were plenty of jobs available.

Box them in so they can't hurt anyone else and let them all kill each other.

I agree with 9:15. Some people just don't want to work. They think everthing should be given to them or they'll just take it.

Not sure if this is for the same incident but 2 Sheriff deputies were walking around the apartments looking for something on the ground a few minutes ago, did something happen over that way?

And the groups problem is just not on kent/jefferson, they travel down Brown St and other streets near the basketball courts, 30+ kids play/real? fighting with each other in the middle of the streets.

Duncan can only have so many patrols running around in the city due to lack of funding, many times only having 2 cars patrolling the worst areas at a time.

I hope they budgeted some money for cameras for all that nice playground equipment and the Concession Building they are putting up at Doverdale park.

I live in the area and the only way I would take my kids to play at that playground would be if the State of Maryland would grant me a concealed carry permit. Till then I will make the hike to the park.
