This year there’s “early voting” that (for the primary election) runs from the 3rd to the 9th of September, in which you may vote at the Civic Center any day except Sunday, Sept. 5th. The polling place will be in the DaNang Room; the hours are 10 AM to 8 PM.
This allows more convenience than having to vote on only one specific day or by an absentee ballot, but should you be an early bird, especially if you are not yet familiar with the candidates and their positions?
For example, do you know which of the Democrat candidates for the at-large seats on the Wicomico County Council are in favor of “changing” the County’s revenue cap on property taxes? [hint: at least two of them]. You can try to guess who they are, unless you believe that ignorance truly is bliss.
And remember, your vote can’t be undone if you later learn something that makes you change your mind. But, if you must vote early or just want to, be sure to listen to the candidate interviews on this blog at least once before casting your ballot.

Yes, vote early, once or twice even, then also on election day. We need to vote these bums out!
Those two Democrat candidates who want to kill the tax cap are Edward Taylor and Davis Cowall, right?
Right!
