Our Health Care Will Change

Up until last week Obama used to promise that, when his “public option” becomes law, every American with a private healthcare plan would be able to keep his or her plan if he or she chooses to. However, over the last week or so, Obama has learned otherwise. Therefore, he has changed his rhetoric. The other night, in front of Congress, he stated his healthcare plan would not require you to change your private plan. He now realizes, given time, it will happen automatically!

Most Americans receive their healthcare plans through their employers. The employer, NOT the employee, is the one who chooses the plan. Therefore, if your employer opts for the “public option,” it will be your healthcare plan, whether you like it or not. With the job market as it is, you will have little to say about it. The question is: would your employer choose Obama’s “public option” for his employees?

Your employer will choose Obama’s “public option” if it is significantly cheaper than private health insurance. Obama has promised numerous times that his “public option” will less expensive and better than private health insurance. He can make it cheaper but he cannot make it better. Here is your problem: even if the “public option” makes the national deficit sky-rocket, Obama could make the “public option” very cheap for employers. All he has to do is subsidize it with taxpayer revenue. The other night on national television he promised not to do this. He insisted all funding for the “public option” will come from premiums paid by it members. You and I know that is ludicrous. During the first several months of the “public option,” its only members would be individuals who currently have no health insurance. Do you think, for a moment, they will be willing to pay a premium for Obama’s “public option?” If you do, you are definitely living in dreamland. Obama will have no choice but to subsidize his plan.

Is Obama likely to subsidize his “private option?” Well, let’s look at his record. With your money, Obama already has subsidized the banking industry, the auto industry and the home appliance industry. Obama even subsidized, with two billion dollars of your money, off-shore drilling by Brazil’s government-own petroleum company, Petrobros, which happens to be the world’s eighth largest global company! Why? I wonder how Al Gore and Green Peace feel about this one. Has ABC or NBC or CBS or MSNBC or CNN told you yet?

Now, do really think, for a second, Obama would deny his own government program of tax-payer subsidies?

It is looking like you will end up with the “public option.” The only question is--how long it will take. The government option will grow as fast as the government is able to process the paperwork. Based on the efficiency of the government in handling the paperwork for Cash for Clunkers or any other program, it might be several months before you fall into Obamacare.

Once Obama has sucked the majority of Americans into his government plan, he will start to budget it, as the Europeans and Canadians do with their national healthcare programs. Obama will do this to free up more of our Gross National Product for leftist endeavors all over the world. Healthcare in America will be rationed and surgeries will be delayed, but the United Nations will be elated. They finally would have succeeded in further weakening capitalism in America. And, where is the evidence that the United Nations is campaigning against capitalism? Below is a link to a video of a speech by the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations. Take note of what he says about capitalism three minutes and forty seconds into the video. The individual is an ex-priest, defrocked by the Vatican for malfeasance in his support of liberation theology in Nicaragua.

Yes, my middle-class friends, most of you will end up in ObamaCare, which eventually will have Veterans Administration-caliber hospitals and doctors. Your wealthy friends will continue to enjoy private hospitals and private doctors.

Answer to 10:55: That's about right, but at least all plans employers choose today offer care in first class hospitals by excellent doctors. This will eventually change after Obama budgets healthcare and slashes fees to doctors and hospital, as he promised he would.

The best hospitals and doctors won't be able to afford to see "government patients." They will turn them away and redirect them to the doctors and hospitals that end up being absorbed into the government system because of weakness. Government hospitals will degrade into Veterans Administration-type centers. Study what happened in England and Canada. Go to the BCC website and start searching and learn.

Our healthcare system isn't perfect today but it will be a heck of lot worse if we allow the moronic liberals to provide the solution to our healthcare problems. Face it; everything the liberals touch goes to sh--. Remember, they were the ones who formed and passed the regulations that took all the power from the doctors and gave it to the health insurance companies. They passed the regulations that resulted in layers and layers of administration inside the healthcare insurance companies. They were the ones who fell for the bogus concept of "managed care." The liberals gave us HMOs. They caused this mess. Make them own it, but let the republicans fix it.

Has anyone noticed that more and more our hospitals are becoming public institutions? You are funding them with tax dollars and then you pay for service thru insurance you have also paid for. Only a small percentage of the total bill goes to the doctors.
Due to high malpractice premiums more doctors work for the hospitals. We have been on the path to socialized medicine for quite some time. If you want socialized medicine, this is fine, but there are some people who don't. Freedom of choice is being taken away from us at a rapid pace. If we don't stand up now, it will soon be too late.
