Stations 8, 7, 79 and 11 have been alerted. Now command is requesting a truck from ANYWHERE. There's a lot of screaming on the radio. They have now requested a second hose line.
Berlin ladder 6 is now responding.
Command has requested Selbyville to stand by.
Someone just screamed they are trying to cut a hole in the roof and it's caving in. Now someone is screaming they need water boosted ASAP.
Selbyville, DE. has been called in to assist. They need the manpower.
It is now 3:00 PM. This picture was taken just moments ago.
Showell Fire Company in Worcester County is heading to Willards to cover the station. Fruitland was also called in.
According to a neighbor there was a massive thunder bolt minutes before smoke started coming out of the building. More than likely lightning is what started this fire.
We're told the lightening bolt friend their computer base located in that part of the building. Could be quite a mess trying to straighten all of their branch figures out.
Interesting how they have been bypassing ALL of the Salisbury Fire Departments during this whole event. It must be a dig from Mayor Day and Councilman Ireton to NOT participate with the County in any way. Time for Executive Culver to put his Big Boy pants on and cut off the City completely.

Screaming on the radio is normal there. Box alarms would take care of getting a truck from anywhere. Pittsville has a truck. Be careful.
I agree with 2:40 PM. This county needs a more organized and structured EMS and fire system. These hillbillies make it a joke and it's an embarrassment to the county. We need a paid Fire Chief and a completely paid fire department.
All Wicomico County is, is nothing but a bunch of clowns buy parade pieces just to look good and feel good at the tax payers expense. That is my money and that is your money that they are wasting.
I have talked to my elected officials and they don't want to do anything about it. They don't even want to listen to you. There is no accountability so It's time to vote those clowns out of office.
Those Hillbillies don't want a Box Alarm system because they know it will take their authority from them.
Typical East side fire... Nothing but screams
I just listened to Pittsvilles fire chief do a PARR check. All units should turn in an accountability tag for each member when they arrive on scene and that engine or unit would be marked down on the accountability board with a total. The Pittsville fire chief would ask the individual units for accountability of how many are counted for. Their replies were "All accounted for." That is not an appropriate PARR check and would put liability on everyone in charge. If Engine 801 has 7 members then the person in charge of that engine would count each of them to make sure they were visible and safe. The officer of that engine is responsible for their safety and should respond "7 members" not "All accounted for." That is why they are referred to as HILLBILLIES.
Wow, great pictures. What a shame though.
Does anyone know the cause?
Good updates Joe, keep up the good work.
I can imagine if I was trying to vent the roof and it was caving in, I may be loud on the radio as well. These are mostly young guys who don't see a working fire everyday, cut them some slack...geez!
Cant beat sbynews. always first to report. i need no other news source. Good work Joe.
Those hillbillies as you call them, are volunteering their time to help! What are you doing sitting on your butt ridiculing, playing on the computer. Volunteer, donate your time or money then you have a right to speak...
Which location is this?
Lightening I believe, I live next to it herd it when it hit! For the guys saying it's a bunch of hillbillies let me tell you something they have been busting there ass I am watching! I don't see you out there with them!
Chris Bowden
All that money tho
All of you belittling the"hillbillies" should be ashamed of yourselves. Shouldn't your first reaction be one of concern for those involved? Wow! I pray none of you ever need help from any of these dedicated volunteers. I personally have a great deal of respect for the men and women who donate their time to help those in need.
They are community minded citizens trying to save a part of their community. If you aren't out there helping, don't speak. Let them do their job to save a long term part of our community.
Hillbillies?!? Those hillbillies RISK their lives to save your sorry behind that doesn't have the time to volunteer! But certainly first in line to name call and criticize! Don't worry, those hillbillies will still answer the call when you need help, despite your sense of entitlement and ignorance! Prayers and God speed to our fire responders! You are the true backbone of our Eastern Shore!!!!

Cut them some slack?? You don't send anyone to vent a roof with fire coming through it you dumb know it all Hillbilly. TAKE NOTE - When there is fire already coming through the roof it is already vented, you don't have to vent. It is already vented. No life is worth losing over a burning building.
If you are so "well versed" why isn't your dumb@ss out there fighting the fire?
Hey 3:29 I have done my time already. Have you? I am pretty sure I have put in more time and more calls daily than you ever will.
Chris Bowden they are Hillbillies and I know they are busting their butts. Doesn't mean they are not Hillbillies.
By the way sir WTH is a herd?
There isn't that much paper money in banks anymore. It all fake electronic money now so the govt can track it!

It wasnt even a building that contains money, first of all. Second of all, PEOPLE, human beings work there and human beings are fighting that fire. Who gives a $h!+ if money burns up? its replacable. Simple minded POS.
3:46.... He won't put anytime in! He's a coward behind a keyboard! But he knows how to do it better, right? Love how the transplants call us all hillbillies, but certainly loves to make this their new home!
My husband is one of the fireman there. He is a great firefighter! You would be glad for them to respond if your house or business was on fire. You would want them there to extricate you from your car if you were trapped because of an accident.
There are all volunteers. They have to have fundraisers to help pay the costs that the state & county can't pay. Dont badmouth these hardworking firemen!
Wishful thinking....I think we have figured it out that those three are thicker than thieves....Day, Ireton, Culver = A HELLAVA MESS
Hey now I am a transplant, please do not lump us in with people from the 21801/04 zip code. I happen to very grateful and supportive of my 49, 50 and 74 neighbors and community.
You people are blind I guess, why call they hillbillies? Do we have and hills they come out of? I think not. We are shorebillys here people!!! Get it right!
First and Gore
Well 3:42 when I posted my comment about venting the roof there was no picture of fire through said roof. I got it though you must be one of those guys from SFD that thinks they are god's gift to the fire service? Boy if you get a paycheck to fight fire you that makes you an expert, glad all of us hillbillies figured that out...Thanks!
Without hills you can't have hillbillies. Our version are called shorebillies.
Gosh all of this "brotherly" love has me wanting to join my nearest FD. I have friends in the FD and they are all very close, I can't imagine who all these ignorant people are knocking them for volunteering their time to save others. Looks to me like the fire is under control and they didn't burn the place down so I believe they did the job! They might "scream" I often talk to loud on the phone because I don't know how loud I am on the other end so maybe they are just trying to make sure someone hears them and I imagine in the middle of the day at an all VOLUNTEER department there may not be much help? But that's just someone with common sense thinking about the situation versus some ignorant immature person that can only think of calling these men and women hillbillies. Sounds to me like those folks need to get a life, good lord there are much worse things that could have happened. Grow Up!
So your a hillbilly if you actually volunteer endless hours to support and help people in your community??? These people are some of the most genuine caring people and myself I would prefer to be around a group of these hillbillies than the other options in today's society
I think we are missing the point. Is it time for Culver to take drastic action? YES!
HLM......Hillbilly Lives Matter!!!!
Teri ..... your husband is one of the finest the county has to offer! I was blessed to be able to fight alongside with him. Willards has some of the best firefighters in the county! We all know who is screaming from Willards over that radio! He has been hyped for years. But I can tell you that of all the volunteer houses I've been a member of, those screaming boys know more than most in other departments. As far a Salisbury being left out. That's a no brainier! It's all about closest response, available equipment an something called next due! Nothing about a beef! Real fire companies and officers put the situation first not politics and personal feelings. They do their jobs.
I believe "Shorebillies" is the accurate term.....no hills for miles my friends. Either way, I hope everyone stays safe and the fire gets extinguished with no injuries. Stay safe out there guys.
Volunteer firefighters and EMS have more of my respect than any union based professional dept! And especially any cop! It's all about the community for these guys. Not money. Not glory. Just being there for their neighbors is all they need for payment. To be human!
Amen to that!
I don't see you stepping up to the plate and volunteering to be a fire fighter. And if you are one you put down your brothers the way you're doing. Hillbillies that's funny. Come to our neck of the woods and shoot your mouth off and you'll get a hillbilly ass whipping.
Amen
I am proud to say my father was one of those Hillbillies so is my son, son in laws, my grandson is also one of them and I am so very proud of them and what they do for the community. Oh by the way so was I. Pray you never need the service our Firefighters or EMS you know were just Hillbillies.
thank you 4:34 p.m......might I add we spell it with a capital S....Shorebillies! WE IS PROUD!!!!
3:37--just checked my online account. All that money is still there. No worries.
You said it, wished all transplants would go back where came from
Hope everyone is ok in the bank. Thats the main home branch been there for many many many years with lots of updates.Hats off to all the men and women who are helping in one way or another.
Says it right in the article....
In that bottom picture can someone tell me what that babysh!t green Suburban or maybe an Expedition is supposed to be? My God that is an ugly color, but I don't understand why a volunteer fire department has a large, expensive SUV.

Well those same hillbillies have let property burn to the ground, as in this case and let people die on their ambulances. That is a fact because must of them are over equipped and under trained. It's time for a county fire department with organization and structure.
Interesting how they have been bypassing ALL of the Salisbury Fire Departments during this whole event. It must be a dig from Mayor Day and Councilman Ireton to NOT participate with the County in any way. Time for Executive Culver to put his Big Boy pants on and cut off the City completely.
^^This is a powerful statement Joe and I agree with you on this one 100%. Bob and the legislative branch needs to make some laws for their accountability.
I hope knowone has been hurt
How do you bypass 3 stations with paid firemen in Salisbury during the day and request Berlin, Selbyville, Showell and Fruitland. Did I miss any? Those guys from Willards went out of state and out of county just so they didn't have to use Salisbury. This speaks volumes about how much dislike there is for the paid fire chief, Mayor Day, Mayor Ireton and many of the paid firemen in Salisbury.
Wow! Just Wow is all I can say. And to be honest I can't blame.

For ANYONE !!!!! Who says hillbilly's are not firefighters ......go become a vol. Firefighter. Get the same training as paid ones do. Work 40+ hrs a week and still make alarms and get up at 2 am and still go to work.
Y'all need to stop . Being a vol. Firefighter is not easy. Not just anyone can do it.
Remember when you run out we run in.

Chris thanks for being grown up and using your name
Lived on the east side all my life and have the utmost respect and am very thankful for the volunteer firefighters. They work together to get it done instead of getting into a territory/p*ssing contest. Rarely see their gear or engines unless they are on a call or doing community service. Wish I could say the same for Sby.
Thanks from 21849.
It's a Records thing.
Except for Salisbury volunteers. 1/3 of them whine, cry and try to get Culver to let them start a county fire club
SPD FIREBOAT ??
Not to change the subject against all of your "hillbilly" comments which are people from the hills and the last time I checked we don't have any.....but I am am more concerned about those who work there and how terrifying this situation was for them. It's not all about the fireman.
Clueless why don't you speak with actual firemen and find out how the system works instead of bashing something you obviously don't have a clue about
This case? Building appears to be standing to me.
There you are "farmin" I was beginning to think You were locked up somewhere had not seen your sarcastic lame remarks lately
No just fat fingers and crazy spell check
It depends on where the call is and what type of call it is. Some companies response piece also considers whether it is a hydrant vs non hydrant area. Mutual aid is also set up to include specialty pieces. Structure fires depending on several factors at a minimum are athree company response. Most accidents are a single company, if it is a rescue it may be a two or three company response depending if the first due is not a rescue company. Mutual aid is the closet due companies. And yes that includes out of county and state responses. You also have tanker task forces. There are so many scenarios it's too long to list. A good idea for those who would truly like to know should visit your own first due company and they will answer your questions
"knowone", LOL!
Who said hero it must have been a zero shut up and I use my name like a man

Did the Salisbury Fire Boat S.S. Hoppes get dispatched to put this fire out? I heard they had a route planned out to go down the Wicomico and then up the Pocomoke River.

What kind of training does your great firefighter have? What kind of credentials does your great firefighter have?

I for one am thankful that the building is still standing and no one got hurt. Thank you firefighters for saving the building. I am sorry that some are putting you down. They are not worth worrying about.
You can call them Hillbillies rednecks or any other name you want to call them. However when your ass is laying in the road from a traffic accident or on fire because you did something stupid or suffering from smoke inhalation or laying on the ground with a heart attack or any other illness it's those hillbillies that will be there to save your ass and won't complain or ask who complained about them. They will be there to do their job to save your life...So you can call them anything you want but rest assured some time in your life you're going to call them because you will need their help...
If it's done correctly a box alarm system would work and no one would lose authority over anything if it's in your first due
Hillbillies? People in Salisbury are calling people in Willards hillbillies? What a bunch of morons. Every town on the shore is full of rednecks.
The only hillbillies here moved here from the mountains of western Maryland, PA and WV. And there are plenty of us here for jobs that do not exist there. Oh yeah, I've been here for 45 years and you will still call me a come here. At least I didn't go to school in Wicomico County.

You obviously weren't there. Someone mentioned the roof caved in. That means it burnt down. You obviously don't understand the fire service. Screaming into the radio proves a lack of experience and lack of quality training. You sir are defending the wrong people. There is no Brotherly Love in the fire service. Volunteers don't like paid guys, paid guys don't like volunteers. Fire doesn't like EMS, EMS doesn't like Fire. Untrained doesn't like the trained, trained doesn't like the untrained. This fire department doesn't like that fire department, that fire department doesn't like this department.
One thing they all do like is a firefighter death so that they all can cry together and call each other heroes. This is one of the worst kind of organizations you can imagine. Most are involved so then can get a boner driving the big red ding ding blowing people off the road with the lights and sirens on. They are not in it to help their neighbor, they are in it for themselves.

You hope what?? WTH is a knowone?
Why am I hearing Dueling Banjos?
I am listening to the radio this morning and I hear Parsonsburg Station 6 get toned out for an MVC on Rt. 50 East of Hobbs Road.
When someone answers up to respond they ask Central what side of Rt. 50 is it on. The Dispatcher says something like "What side of the highway is it on?"
Instead of getting a professional answer that they deserved the dispatcher makes a stupid comment like "Upon my dispatch I said..."
This is supposed to be someones Emergency and these responders have to deal with an ignorant and clueless dispatcher at the Wicomico County 911 Center. Just answer him "on the Eastbond or on the Westbound side. Please quit being a DICK! This same dispatcher is the same one that is over dispatching on many calls for rescues and fires when it really isn't necessary. Those dispatchers like him are usually the ones that are afraid of fire or are to dumb to pass a paramedic course. Sometimes they are just fat and lazy.
Bob Culver you have had 2 years to clean up this Fire Department mess in this county and all you have done is rewarded them with more money. I know what your reward will be in 2 years Mr. Culver.

Hillbilly? That's funny I did not see one person wearing overalls, playing the banjo, or drinking out of a jug of moonshine. Just a bunch of people who left their jobs and families to try to save someone's property, and all for free!
If all transplants went back this place would be a bigger landfill than it is!
"Deputy Chief 2 to Central. Property Damage accident at Rt. 50 Tilghman Road, Westbound, 2 vehicles, everybody is Ok."
Will someone take that radio away from that Clown! If everyone is Ok I am sure one of them has their own cell phone and already called the PD. What a sad, pitiful life that man lives to get his cookies off talking on the radio. Funny thing is he never gets to a real fire quick enough to establish command. Typical Lawn Ornament from way back.

Oh, is that what a Hillbilly looks like?
By the way, most of those people don't have jobs. What jobs are there in Willards, Pittsville, Gumboro, Powellville, etc.? Sad, but true.

I don't see you stepping up to the plate and volunteering to be a fire fighter. And if you are one you put down your brothers the way you're doing. Hillbillies that's funny. Come to our neck of the woods and shoot your mouth off and you'll get a hillbilly ass whipping.

"Redneck"
How Classy! And you wonder why people made the remarks about Hillbillies? You are the epitome of Hillbillies and you embarrass all of us in the Fire Service.

First and Gore

Can someone please explain to us what First and Gore is?
9:45
They make these great inventions called cars. Some even have trucks that get them around. That is how people get to work. Try it sometime!
9:42
They forget that a transplant owns this blog also. If you want to see how a "born here" runs a blog all you have to do is look at the joke of a blog the EBT blogger runs.
What hillbillies are you guys talking about? There isn't a hill in the county. I think you mean Shorebillies, your welcome.
You people are absolutely pathetic!! You sound like a bunch of 12 year olds pissing and whining about things that aren't relevant at all, who's a hillbilly who's using poor grammar who's a come here or born here!!! These are all the traits that continue to divide. Is life really that bad, you're that miserable?? Sounds to me like there's a whole lot of you so called shore billies or transplants need to go out an get laid enjoy yourselves a little
To those of you trying to soften the blow here stating other stations are closer to the scene then Salisbury, SALISBURY IS STAFFED, Idiots. These other stations were not. Some times you people amaze me with stupidity.
So, now you insult the farmers? Don't you eat? just a cowardly troll without any sense of worth or value trying to de-value the community and the dedicated citizens who work to make our Shore a great place to be.... You must like it since you moved here..... As I said before, don't worry, because those hillbillies will answer your call one day for help.... Maybe even save your life.... They just answer the call..... Not because they are paid, or obligated, or have to..... Because they WANT to......
Salisbury is staffed with firefighters using City funds. They are meant to protect the citizes of Salisbury. They should only need to come out into the county areas as a last resort.
11:17, BROTHERHOOD MY ASS! Thanks for PROVING it's all about the money. Thank you for proving the NYC Police/EMS/Firefighters on 9-11 were TRUE heroes. Your neighbors business was in trouble, serious trouble. You a-holes just sat there waiting for the VOLUNTEERS to fail. You people in Salisbury SUCK, starting with the Mayor's Office.
Thanks for vindicating me over all these years.
Now command is requesting a truck from anywhere. A lot of screaming on the radio so their is a fire. A second hose line is requested.
So please don't tell me there wasn't mayhem.
The next time one of the haters on here are involved in an accident at Rt 50 and Sixty foot road, I guess they would rather wait for a paramedic from Salisbury?!? What is wrong with people? To the Farmer's Bank of Willards, so sorry for this tragedy!!
I have elderly family that literally live on the county/city line. Heads will roll if, God forbid, they are ever in need and something terrible happens to them because one or the other has been told it's not their jurisdiction!!!!
"Hillbillies" hope the next time it's not your house on fire on wait you didn't put your name wonder why
6:05...you don't have a clue ...I bet your a wanna be firefighter
You are very wrong about that ...a lot was saved ...don't speak of you don't know the facts
Yep a true moron ...
Yep
146 comments about a fire? Good grief people, get a grip.
^ you are incorrect. 146 plus you = 147. It's common core... now it's 148 and counting...
Good point 10:01.
Go JOE Go - every remark YOU make shows them what SHOULD have happened. YOUR taxpayer money is just being wasted in Salisbury - just floating down the River. YOU should apply for a 911 job or become a firemen with all your expertize. Show the uninformed, untrained how to do it right.
Salisbury taxpayer dollars are being wasted on marketing powerpoints and stupid logos to placate Day's ego. You people get had every time you elect these loopy liberals into office. When will Salisbury learn liberalism is a frigging mental disorder? They're horrible with money and lack the sense God gave a snail!
There are multiple ways to do box alarms. The way Wicomico does things is actually a type of box alarm. You have preset SOP's for mutual aid and what pieces of equipment that responds and back ups in place.etc etc
Hey 10:01, if you are going to correct someone, correct yourself. You said "your welcome". It should be " you're welcome". You're is a contraction for "you are".
Hey 1256, get new glasses. 1001 didn't write anything about "you're welcome"... so before you "correct" someone 1256, make sure it's in order!
1256, I think 1001 was joking around. Go back in your hole
12:56, where is "you're welcome"??? Maybe "you're an idiot" 12:56
Damn! 156 comments and the S.S. Hoppes is still enroute to the scene from Salisbury. Wait, they didn't get called.

Joe is correct. The paid firemen are already on the street shopping for lunch or dinner or they are in the 12 or so recliners just feet away from the engines. I don't think there is much difference in whose stations are closer, but the volunteer stations have to be alerted and sometimes over and over again. Then the volunteers have to stop what ever they were doing, jump in their 4x4 pick ups with oversized wheels, drive like a bat out of hell, finally get to the station, find a place to park their trucks out of the way, run to the station, find their gear rack, get dressed, run to the fire truck, let it run for a couple of minutes, then drive like a bat out of hell to the fire scene.
Now, paid firemen in Salisbury will be much quicker because they are already prepared. Sorry, not taking sides with them, but it is a fact.

You dumb nitwit!! Much of Salisbury FD's funding comes from the Wicomico County Tax payers. As a matter of fact every tax payer in the County. Get a real job you loser.

Joe that is exactly what Rick Hoppes, John Tull, Darrin Scott and the rest of the paid firemen do. They sit their and wait for the volunteers to fail. Why? Because they are hoping they will justify their paid jobs. They have already run the volunteers out of the county and now they are trying their best to justify their existence so the county can pay them for their unneeded paid firemen. That is how the paid firemen think in Salisbury. They are dangerous people, very dangerous.

Absolutely it was mayhem Joe. Those were the exact words coming out of commands mouth. I am sure Richard A. Hoppes, Jake Day and Jim Ireton were LTAO.

Not one person on here said they would wait for a paramedic from Salisbury. As a matter of fact those paramedics in Salisbury these days are quite scary. They scraped the bottom of the barrel to hire anyone that would take the job. Real firemen and paramedics got real jobs in Anne Arundel, Prince Georges, Howard, Baltimore and Montgomery Counties. Heck Ocean City is even better than Salisbury.

I doubt that. But I'm willing to take that chance. All of you move away since you're always complaining about this area. Wouldn't that be the sensible thing to do? And take your leader too since he thinks we suck. If it so was great where you used to live, why did you move here? And if it's so bad here, why do you stay? You ever stop and think it might be YOU? You were unhappy where you were, you come here and are unhappy here. Hmmmm
6:18-Serious I'll agree, but exactly what is getting accomplished?
What exactly IS the "rule" or "procedure" when a fire department needs assistance? Is there a set order each department follows, based on location or some other criteria? I'd like to hear from the Fire Chiefs of all the local departments, as well as Mayor Day and Mr. Culver. If there is no protocol established, then I'd like to know why there isn't one. If there is a beef between volunteers and paid firefighters/EMS, why isn't it being addressed and solved? There is no excuse for either situation to continue.
I'm sure volunteer firefighters/EMTs receive training; how much training they get versus paid firefighters/EMTs, I don't know. I'm also sure than many, if not all, volunteers do this because they really do want to help people. If they also enjoy the excitement/adrenaline rush, so what? I know people who are paid firefighters and EMTs and people who are volunteers; there are many truly good people in emergency services in Wicomico County. However, anyone directing operations in an emergency MUST remain (or appear) calm and in control for the good of everyone involved. Panic is contagious, so maybe if what I'm reading is true, the wrong person was on the radio in the FBOW fire.
Instead of name calling and being nasty, can't we find out exactly what (if any) protocols are set up and why? I'm sorry for FBOW, but this could be a good learning experience for fire departments and civilians. Let's be supportive instead of critical. I'm sure there are folks who would be willing to be trained on the fire/EMS radio as volunteers; not everyone is physically able to fight fires, etc., but would like to volunteer.
I am personally grateful for whoever might show up if I need help. I don't care if they're rednecks, come-heres, hillbillies/shorebillies, born-heres, big city people, paid or volunteer. As long as they know what to do, I would just be glad they came to help.
And, yes, my questions are serious because I honestly don't know the answers. I think we all need to know the truth.

I agree with you but it seems most people think the one with the loudest put-down wins a debate. The truth is just an annoyance to some
The county has SOP's set up in which they dispatch from. Each district has mutual aid to the closest companies and other companies for specialty pieces. Depending where it is in the first due district may depend who responds. An example of this is if Salisbury needed help on Civic Ave Parsonsburg will be called vs if it was on Queen Ave then Hebron could be called. Structure fires are set up with a minimum of a three company response. Accidents a one company response unless it is a rescue in some areas, as not all fire depts are a rescue company. An example is Parsonsburg they are not a rescue dept do depending on where it is located you could get Salisbury or Pittsville to respond. There are numerous SOP's for every type of call depts handle and if there is a call which has never been addressed before they will critique this and set SOP's up for this. Paid and volunteer have to have fire fighter training. All companies encourage you to continue in all aspects of training including rescue, hazmat, ems, etc etc. Some companies require you to have more and a specific type of training. As for as getting excited on the radio you have that time to time, some people also sound that way as that is what their personality is, sometimes it sounds worse as talking louder and too close to the mic. And yes some just get too excited and should take a breath. If you cannot be a fire fighter they do have fire police which you could possibly volunteer for which are an assist to not only the fire dept but also assist the police dept. It also involves training. I encourage all people at the very least find out who their first due fire dept is and then contact them with any questions
6;13 couldn't have said it better myself. They are the ones ruining the Salisbury Fire Department.

The volunteers have the same exact training available that their paid counter parts do. They all have their training done at MFRI and the volunteers have at least one training night a month. They just lack the experience most of the time.
A countywide paid fire department would make a difference.
You have no clue ....it amazes me how anyone can bad mouth a volunteer...these men and women give their time for no pay what so ever...and just to let everyone know Chris Davis said that all the volunteers did an outstanding job and were very professional ...also after the fire the Willard firefighters stayed and helped move stuff out of building ...yeah they sure are awful aren't they ...get a life and grow up people...and by the way my husband is one those volunteers and he is very dedicated and a damn fine firefighter / Emt
