Salisbury Police Department Press Releases


On September 9, 2009 at approximately 11:34 am, Detectives from the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect for the armed robbery of Phillips Cleaners on September 3, 2009 and the armed robbery of the Donut Connection on September 4, 2009. The suspect was arrested on September 6 by Salisbury Officers for the armed robbery of a citizen. During this arrest, significant evidence was recovered by the arresting officers. Detectives were able to utilize this evidence to positively identify Barkley as the suspect responsible for the two (2) previous armed robberies. The suspect’s firearm was recovered and the investigations are continuing as to accomplices.

On September 6, 2009 at approximately 12:51 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on the two hundred (200) block of Washington Street for the report of an assault. Upon arrival officers met with a victim who advised that the below listed suspect, a family member, had threatened to burn her residence down during a domestic argument. It was found during the investigation of the incident that the suspect had responded to the residence then had engaged the victim in an argument. During the argument the suspect exposed himself then threatened to burn the residence.

ARRESTED: Daniel Nathan Elliott, 49 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Indecent exposure
Threat of arson
False statement to police officer
Trespassing

Well, we bit6h all day and night about all the armed robbers getting away. It's time to congratulate all in the SPD who contributed to taking this person down. I hope it leads to more arrests.

Somehow, though, I won't believe Webster's on the list.

If its the Danny Elliott I think it is,he also has a long history of arson threats-some kind of pyro.
