Love, so wonderful, made me laugh, and sad at the same time. Good for him. I usually just yell FU and hang up, although I did dick around with a microsoft scammer once for a few minutes before I yelled FU and hung up.
I had some of the same fun with a scammer like that one time had everyone in the room laughing their a$$es off. Scammer finally hung up on me after about ten minutes of taking up his time.
I usually express an interest in what ever they are trying to sell then say someone is knocking on my door don't hang up I'll be right back then I go back to watching TV, after a few minutes I tell the caller don't hang up I want to talk to you. After I have done that about 4 or 5 times I tell the caller to go F them self and hang up.
