Man held without bail in engaged doctors' double murder

A former security guard charged with killing two engaged doctors in their luxury Boston condominium snuck into the building through the garage and lay in wait for the victims, whom he restrained with duct tape and then used a large carving knife to slit their throats, a prosecutor revealed on Monday.

A grinning Bampumim Teixeira was ordered held without bail after pleading not guilty in Suffolk Superior Court to charges including two counts of murder.

Teixeira, 30, of Chelsea, tied up and stabbed 38-year-old Dr. Lina Bolanos and 49-year-old Dr Richard Field in their home on May 5, prosecutor John Pappas said in summarizing details of the case.
