Oh bless her heart. Hope she's ok.

The old hit the accelerator instead of the brake trick. This is why I started left foot braking.

Injuries in a no-collision accident point to no seat belt in use. Grandma, please learn from this.

Be nice, had you considered maybe she had a heart attack or some other illness?

5:47 PM - Then she wouldn't have been admitted with minor injuries.

It says she was transported, not admitted...

I lived in the pines for nine years..i have seen elderly drivers that were sitting on the side of the road scratching their heads, wondering how they ended up in the ditch. I have seen them going the wrong way and one stopped at the green light sitting on rt 50 near racetrack rd. even when people beeped she just sat there till the light turned red, she eventually pulled over on the side. there are a lot of older people who need to be evaluated on their driving/ memory skills. They don't realize how dangerous they are.. that goes for teens also.. hate to see a husband with wife and kids get killed because someone needs to slow up on the driving.

Oops! She thought she had it in reverse. I'll bet she was looking over her shoulder to back out and was shocked when it went forward. She never saw it coming (the pond, that is).
