If You Thought The Snow Was Bad Here

My Sister spent three hours today shoveling her car out of the snow in northern Virginia.

It will all be melted in the next 3 days. I'll sit right here and wait, LOL!

I live in NOVA and it took me 4 hours. Our county has over 7,000 vehicles and contractors plowing and they say it will by 2 days before the get to the subdivisions.

Well Ken, my Sister is an Albero. She doesn't need a man to clear her vehicle and she never whines.

Secondly, unlike too many of the lazy EBT residents here on the Shore, my Sister is the Principal of a Catholic School and if she has to walk to school because the roads aren't clear, you can depend on the fact that she will be there, ON TIME.

You see, Catholic Schools are ten times more responsible then public schools and what's even cooler is that their teachers actually love what they do and walk away daily feeling rewarded.

The chances of each student completing college is above 95% and oh, get this, parents actually raise their children to be respectable and IF their child is out of control in any way, shape or form, they are removed from the school, no excuses.

I couldn't be more proud of my Sister.

Well Joe, if we could remove e the students from public schools who misbehave then we would have 95% of them graduating from college too. Federal laws will not allow us to do that.

7:09, Amen, so true. This is why some teachers choose TEACHING over babysitting. She may make less money but she is so rewarded in so many wonderful ways.

I'll never forget when she took her first teaching job at a Catholic School. This is a woman with a Masters Degree and made $13,000.00 a year.

Here we were thinking, REALLY? All that money for college and that's it! Her immediate answer was, it's what I love to do and it is a School I chose. Again, she's an Albero and there's no arguing a final decision.

Today she is a Principal and the pay, well, let's just say it's a whole lot better and she's still just as happy.

Well another big Thank You can go to obama and the democrats for the mess the public schools have become. He wanted to reduce suspensions and expulsions. So he had the US dept of ED issue 'guidelines' which basically just made it impossible to suspend or expel unless a student kills someone. Public schools don't have to abide BUT the feds offer that if you can show a reduction in suspensions/expulsion you can get fed grant money! What's even more amazing is that most of the 'teachers' are unaware of how it all works. It's become anymore for the most part that the US public schools are nothing more than pre-detention centers. The schools administrators are too blame. They are not leaders but just merely followers of the agenda. The are promoted simply because they comply. It is not an honor to be a 'pricipal' of a public school. It means you have a brown nose. And before anyone comes on and says I'm jealous I'll nip that in the bud this instant. There isn't enough money on the face of the earth that could get me to step foot in the cluster the uninformed and ignorant call the US public education system.
Private schools are the way to go and best wishes to Joe's sister. The students are privileged to have her.
