George has been delivering Historical Posts for many years here on Salisbury News.
Unfortunately, George has been under the weather and is facing a difficult journey with cancer.
I can tell you, George has delivered more than 250 Historic articles in the Salisbury and Wicomico County area every single week.
When we started with George, our slowest day each week was Saturdays. George was kind enough to offer his historic information and he wanted Saturdays. The next thing we knew, Saturdays became just as busy as week days, all because of George Chevallier.
His input has drawn in so many people who used to live in Salisbury who chimed in with extensions of their experiences and memories and George has always enjoyed each comment.
Please let George know how much YOU appreciate his service to our communities.

I so enjoy reading his articles. Some bring back memories...some inform and enlighten of Salisbury's past. Thank you for your hard work all these years. Sending prayers for healing, love, and light.
Cancer is such an ugly disease. I have lost my father, and my daughter is about to lose a friend. My hope is that Mr. George kicks its butt, so that I and so many others can continue to enjoy his posts. It is Mr. George's posts that bring me here each Saturday. I enjoy reading about how Salisbury used to be. Mr. George, you are in our daily prayers.
I enjoyed meeting George when he bought a local item from me on eBay. I chose to deliver it, since I was close by. I ended up spending about an hour talking, and looking at his collections. George, my prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.

Having worked with George for 23 years I know of his excellent historical knowledge . We have been fortunate to learn the things he excels in. Our prayers are with George and his family . God Bless
His perspective on Salisbury is irreplaceable.

George, I have truly enjoyed all the articles and really looked forward to reading them each week. I called you one day and we spoke of some of this and we realized we had attended school together (my husband and I) back in the day. We are praying for you now and believing God to take care of any pain and suffering you may be going through. Thanks again...

Our thoughts and prayers for Mr. George. Thank you for all you have done for this Blog. I always enjoy reading the history of our community and surrounding area.
My prayers are with you George and really hope that you can beat this horrible disease. I go back many years of knowing George, his sister as well as his Mother and Father. I rented from his Grandfather when I first moved to Salisbury at 214 Truitt Street and started my family of three children. I also knew George later in life when he worked for H. B, Kennerly Co. in Nanticoke so I have had contact over many years. George has always been a great collector and has told many tales of past history. I wish you all the best for a complete recovery and know you will fight this with a strong will. I could tell many interesting stories from my long standing relationship with his Grandfather, Mr. Albert Dishiroon.
As a come here you have given me a good look at some of the nicer things about the Eastern Shore. My prayers are with you.
