Mrs. Smith Invokes KKK To Defend Oscars Boycott

Jada Pinkett-Smith brought up the Ku Klux Klan when she was criticized for urging black actors to boycott the Oscars.

The actress is speaking out after the woman who played Aunt Vivian on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” criticized the Smiths for their comments.

“I find it ironic that somebody who has made their living, and made millions and millions of dollars from the very people you’re talking about boycotting just because you didn’t get a nomination, just because you didn’t win,” Janet Hubert said. “That is not the way life works, baby.”

More actors than not would rather win due to their own abilities as an actor rather than the color of their skin. People of Ms. Smith's ilk don't appreciate this inference is implied by her 'boycott' that she doesn't care about talent, she's more concerned with pigment.

Only 3 white guys in the last 30 years have won the MVP award in the NBA. Boycott the NBA!!

Given the KKK's historical beginnings with the Democrat party, I would think some Dems would want to put the kabash on this kind of rhetoric. It may remind Americans that it was them whom created the group to begin with!

This is b.s. no one boycotts the BET awards, or NAACP awards. The black actors should just deal with the fact that they weren't as good this year. Also the Oscars should never again nominate anyone that boycotts them.

I guess being black means you're entitled to an Oscar rather than earning it.

The group that should be complaining are the Hispanics who make up a larger proportion of the population than Blacks, but are underrepresented on TV and in the movies. Idris Elba was awesome in Beasts of No Nation, but does anyone think the Academy (made up largely of people who work for the studios) is going to nominate a movie released by the likes of Netflix or Amazon?

Lets ask Jada Pinkett-Smith why there has never been a white actor/actress given an award on the BET awards?

I always thought that her husband has had a pleasant personality, and has done well for himself, never so much as a bad word about him, but looks like he did indeed choose a no class wife from Baltimore, her behavior and driving her point all over the media makes her seem like gotta say it a real bitch. I feel sorry for the husband and children.

The Klan was and is a Freemasonic Organization. K = 11, KKK = 33 the highest level in freemasonry.

I was surprised by his lack of knowledge when Will Smith was asked if he knew his wife was going to post her comments. It was as if he was really put on the spot with that question. Even though he defended her I really got the impression it was something that would not have happened on his watch if he had known. This may be indicative of a greater problem in the household.
