Depends on where you are. In Crisfield I expect we'll get 1-2 inches of snow, followed by a lot of rain, frozen, and followed by another couple inches of snow.
Whatever snow we receive will not last long because the track of the low pressure system will foster in warm air turning it all to rain. In order for us to be hit by a substantial amount of lasting snow we would have to have a high pressure cold front over the Great Lakes forcing the low system to leave the coast over South Carolina and stay off of the coast as it moves northward throwing its moisture back into the cold front. The meteorologist know this but also realize that predicting rain does not sell copy.
By the time it's all over. Maybe 2 inches Snow.. Lots of rain. fear the 50 or 60 mile an hour winds more than anything. Storm already looks like it's not acting as predicted. Kind've like war. You can predict a storm/battle all you want. you won't know what the result will be, till it gets here and underway.
Thew last time it snowed my wife didn't get a bit of housework done. She just stood there looking thru the kitchen window. I thought, if it get's much worse I might have to let her in.
So glad I'm not a weather forecaster!!! We will get enough snow/rain to make sure that anyone with a brain will not be on the road unless you are in fire or rescue.

7 inches. Then rain. Then 2 inches more.
3"
3 to 4 inches
im thinking 8-12 for Salisbury. If you look at Richmond, Dc, Baltimore stations, we are in that range. The NWS doesnt even mention snow, just rain.

Wal-Mart want us to believe in 8-12 inches. Truth? 1-2 max, with rain following. No big deal.
A dusting and then rain, will be gone by the time you wake up.
