Summer Jam turns into chaos in New Jersey

A hip-hop and R&B concert in New Jersey erupted into chaos Sunday night when police in riot gear tried to contain agitated crowds.

The melee started when attendees tried to forcefully enter the Summer Jam concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, authorities said.

"Security personnel at one of the entrance gates ... were confronted by crowds attempting to illegally enter the sold out Summer Jam concert by climbing over fences and forcing their way through security personnel," New Jersey State Police said.

Troopers on site asked for extra backup to help maintain order, Sgt. Gregory Williams said. Witnesses said authorities arrived in riot gear.

The big question should be, why would the police be in riot gear at a concert? I have been to many concerts and never, ever saw police in riot gear.

About SBY news , I've found it the best media anywhere. All of the TV stations give you false news knowing the response can't get to them for opinions. I guess that's why so many young people have fallen for this crap in the MSM.
Anyway , it's pleasure to comment about news and to read other opinions , hell I might be wrong sometimes. I heard that this media will go on TV in the future , hopefully soon. A rare and treat for us few on the right.

"crowds attempting to illegally enter the sold out Summer Jam concert by climbing over fences and forcing their way through security personnel"

had to be planned ..just like when they storm Wal Mart or any proprietorship and the Police do nothing because the media will slam them as they did here making comments about riot gear.. as if they should not wear personal protective gear because it may send the wrong message to people with no business being on the property to begin with.

6:41 they were called as back ups because of an out of control mob...I guess you think people without tickets have a right to even be on the property.. don't bother calling the Police when you experience the home invasion that comes with the incremental escalation you people project

climbing over fences, forcing past security, people being trampled to death, drug overdoses, none of that ever happened at rock concerts attended by white kids.

They were "agitated"...why?

Oh wait. Being prevented from committing a crime. Because of slavery and police brutality and Freddie whatshisname and racism and poverty and lack of jobs and opportunity and white privilege and Jim Crow laws and being oppressed.

No, wait...because they felt entitled to go to the concert for free...

Because they are ALWAYS "agitated" in large groups. And they'll pick a reason it's someone else's fault they behaved like animals.

Because culture of criminality.

It is Black entitlement. We should llok at it for what it is. This type of behavior started over in France two years ago. Kids today need an ass whooping. Stopped prayer in schools unless of course you are muslims. Stopped spanking childrem

6:41 you answered your own question. Look at what happened the police nailed it. They felt this would happen and they came prepared. Kudos to the police. Booooo Booooo to the thugs that crashed the gate. You my friend are why America is becoming a dung pile. Ultra liberalism fails in any country. Look what happened to Rome.

Sure white kids have been trampled at the gate of a rock concert and died. It happened at a Who concert in 79. All were ticket holders though. White people don't show up en masse and expect to storm a gate and attend for free.

Sorry, kids, but Woodstock was 46 years ago and hip-hop wasn't on the menu.

10:27 AM your comment is right on the mark. They always want something for free.

You could give them everything free in the world and they still would not be happy.
