A transgender woman, Alexa Rodriguez, has filed a complaint after she was allegedly denied breast implant surgery at the hospital because of her gender identity.
Rodriguez says all her life she's felt like a woman.
“I changed my name, my gender, it's something that made me happy and when something like this happens it gives me sadness and frustration,” she says.
Alexa wanted to have breast implant surgery to achieve the feminine figure she wasn't born with. She says a doctor at the hospital examined her and told her she was ready.
But after getting approval for coverage from her insurance company, Rodriguez says an employee at the hospital gave her a completely different response, telling her they were not taking transgender females.

So what? Since the surgery (breast implantation) is offered for women AND has been performed on other transgender patients AND s/he has the means to pay, the hospital has an obligation to provide the service. Our personal opinion doesn't matter in this instance.
Self loathing is what causes this, an inability to love yourself for who you are. At one time in this society loving yourself as you are was considered a good character trait. Take a look at the suicide rates for man-women who have their she-penises scraped off and you will see that there is severe psychological issues behind this.
5:23 - BS. Since when are we not entitled to our opinions. I'll have my opinion until I die and I don't think there's a thing you can do about it. You just had your opinion stated that the hospital has an obligation to provide the service - well, I just happen to think that's BS, they are not obligated to provide anything.
You are entitled to your opinion, but it can't be forced on others. Live your life your way and they will live their way.
I didn't think any insurance would cover elective surgery no matter if you were born male or female. The sure try to get out of paying for things they should!

Probably not a good thing to let men get breasts installed. They'd never leave the house if they had their own set.
A man can not biologically change from a man to a woman. You can have as many surgeries as you want, but you are still a man. You are now a man without a wanger. You are now a man that has to squat to pee. You are a man without a vagina or vaginal cavity. You can not have babies.
And more than anything you are a man that will never get to be a real man again. You are a man with a serious mental illness.
