Last month, SBYnews reported that the US Bureau of Labor Statistics did a comprehensive revision of its previously posted Employment Labor data for the entire US.
In effect - for Wicomico County the newly posted Labor Force jobs numbers showed that the agency substantially revised downward the overall displaced Labor Force number by approximately 50%. SBYnews launched an investigation into the department's latest jobs number restatement and have made several inquires to the US Labor Department. As of the time of this writing, SBYnews has not been provided an adequate explanation from the Labor Department as to why Wicomico County's previously reported workforce numbers were substantially different than their original monthly reports - prior to - February's 2015 monthly jobs numbers.
SBYnews even went so far as to package-up and contact the FOX News investigative team so as to try and shine a national spotlight on the US Bureau of Labor's newly created jobs numbers - extending from February 2015 - all the way back to August 2011.
Our local SBYnews investigative team seems to concur that the US Bureau of Labor's recent restatement of the past several years of jobs numbers gives the appearance that history is trying to be rewritten in that the jobs gains are significantly improving. Fact is - this does not come as a surprise as the:
Democrats are now trying to remold and lay claim to an ever improving US jobs market - in time - before the November 2016 General Election. Fact is - nothing could be further from the truth as the US Bureau of Labor's previous jobs reports showed that Wicomico County experienced 25 consecutive months of negative workforce retraction - or - 32 of the past 38 months of negative jobs retraction.
Our Editorial staff hopes that our readers are astute enough to be able to decipher the recently restated jobs information that is being - spoon fed to them - from the current administration.

Those lying beestards. I am quite sure that Martin O'Malley also has a hand in it by trying to show that his jobs performance record was better than it actually was.
That's the Democratic way, they wrote the book on deception.
Barrack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Mike Miller, Michael Busch, Martin O'Malley, they have all demonstrated that they simply cannot be trusted. Deceit is their middle name.
Funny how conservatives are tying themselves in knots to somehow prove that the job picture is getting worse not better. I just pray your wishes don't come true.
And I thought the Soviet Union was bad. Just goes to show one that our own Country is full of corruption.
Maybe someone should contact WikiLeaks Sunshine press.
I have been looking for work since Feb... There was ONE job in my profession advertised last month. There is nothing but scams, and minimum wage part time work out there.
And what kind of work is that, 4:40?
If it's so bad here, then go somewhere else for a job or change fields.
Look no further. Just today I witnessed bus loads of young people standing outside of Social Security to get work visas. (As in several buses). This is happening all the time. Drive by and see. The office is behind Lowes in Salisbury.
I don't know why this would surprise anyone.
They've been putting out inflated numbers almost every month for quite a while.
Then about 1-2 months later, they finally revise them downward (ie- tell the truth) when they think nobody is paying attention. They get 'credit' for the good numbers in most people's minds, since they won't really pay any attention to the revision.
This is the Obama administration, where lying about things is the norm.
And you just wait. If Hillary was to get elected...
Joe, this certainly has been going on for quite awhile.
Increasing the size of government is not real job growth.
That's what has happened under Obama's leadership. Many unnecessary
positions have been created in government. Not in the real working world.
3:39 it is not a wish, it is a reality. Get your head out of the sand.
3:39. My heads not in the sand (except when I'm at my shore house). I've got a great job with a 6 figure salary with a great company and yes we are hiring. Just not on the shore though.
7:23 PM is hiring - I heard. They are only taking applicants that are equipped with H2 Visas though.
Pretty sorry state of affairs if you ask me.
Why do you think the Feds keep resisting Ron Paul's proposal and won't allow the Federal Reserve Board to be audited. Let's face it you simply can't trust your own Government.
When are the Feds gonna come in and do a full investigation into the lies, deceit and fraud committed by Salisbury?
Let's not forget who is really responsible for the malaise here -- Rick Pollitt and the RINOS, Stevie Prettyman (good riddance, gone but not forgotten), Matt Holloway and John Hall, primarily.
Let's face it, O'Malley bragged each month about how many jobs Maryland had gained from month-to-month. Low and behold - he finally leaves office because of MD's term limits - and then embarks on the Presidency.
Fast forward 5 months til present - and now all of a sudden O'Malley is starting to tout about how Baltimore residents have been deprived from good paying jobs!!!
HEAR ME LOUD AND CLEAR - I am calling you out O'Malley as the King of hypocrites. Pardon my French - but where were you O'Malley the 8 years as Maryland's Governor and not to mention the time you served as the former Baltimore Mayor.
3:39 Liberal Elite!!!!!! I was wondering when you would surface. NIH is government. Non producing overhead. And 6 figures? Worthless waste of money.
I certainly did. I moved to another state. I am sooooo much happier. Wicomico and the entire Maryland eastern shore ain't sugar honey ice tea.
