Casebolt's lawyer informed FOX4 of Casebolt's decision.
The video of the Friday incident involving Casebolt at a McKinney neighborhood pool went viral and had initially landed Casebolt on administrative leave while police officials conduct an investigation.
Casebolt was seen pulling Dajerria Becton to the ground and pinning her with his knees while she cried out. He also pulled out his gun and pointed it at other teens and briefly ran after them before being stopped by two fellow McKinney police officers. Throughout the video Casebolt is heard repeatedly cursing.

It has nothing to do with kops behavior and attitudes does it? Why don't all you kops go over to policeone and cry over there?
Anyone bashing the officer should read the article with info. regarding this incident, including statements from people that reside in the community that witnessed it all. Not the cherry-picked version video that shows only the LEO's actions.
The police were called in to disperse a crowd that refused to leave the pool area, in which an out of control party was being held. They didn't follow the HOA rules, and were asked to leave.

Was NOT illegal. Name the statute smart one. Why don't some of you ask yourselves WHY he resigned, WHY the police chief AND the mayor called this KOPS actions INDEFENSABLE? And after all that, ask why the police sent letters to the teens asking if THEY wanted to press charges!

It was illegal, moron. HOA rules stated that one person living in the neighborhood can bring only two guests to the pool. That means it was illegal. Watch the whole video. The girl getting thrown around by the office was the instigator to the whole mess. Of people would just listen to the officers, until they get a handle on everything, nothing would have happened! I mean, of you lived in a neighborhood with a community pool, would you or your family throw an illegal pool party and disregard the rules that almost everyone else follows?
Smart move, good for him. It is obvious that he would have NO SUPPORT from his superiors or the local government, and especially the media.
Again the WHOLE story will never be told, this ghetto princess and her thug friends will get the benefit of the doubt. Welcome to Obama world.

Just like the mess in Baltimore, DA sent officers to that area to patrol and watch for drug activity, then damn if she doesn't have six officers arrested for doing the job she told them to do. I KNEW some MORON would bring up HOA. That is a community reg, NOT a law. Therefore, NOT ILLEGAL.
At MOST, maybe trespassing and/or disturbing the peace but good luck with that since most of the teens lived in the area. And since the police themselves sent letters to the TEENS asking if they wanted to press charges against that kop, I highly doubt that.

Actually, genius, the whole thing was illegal. The girl, a self styled "promoter" who has no business license, charged for admission. Thats called illegally operating a business for profit, for which she should be charged.

You obviously haven't read any of the articles stating what truly happened, and you are creating the facts for yourself. It is widely reported that over 100 kids were dropped off from all over the city. Any of those kids who entered the private pool area were trespassing. Which is obviously illegal.
Perhaps you should take your own advice and utilize some intelligence, instead of twisting the facts to fit your "kop" bashing. You have yourself a nice day.
