In February, the Mayor and City Council were presented with a five-year water and wastewater plan that called for the elimination of the elevated water towers on Worcester and 15th streets. Replacing these downtown fixtures with a new single water tower at a town-owned property on 1st Street and St. Louis Avenue was proposed.
According to Public Works Director Hal Adkins, the 1st Street Elevated Water Tank project is scheduled for bid opening on June 23. However, there has been recent interest from multiple parties to change the logo that is currently included in the bid package from the “standard logo” that reads “Welcome to Ocean City, Thank You for Visiting Ocean City”. The standard logo can be seen on the 64th Street and 136th Street water tanks.

I have been to the beach and to OC and it sucks! Taken over by gangs, and drugs as well as panhandlers on the boardwalk. The place isn't family friendly. I go to Virginia or NC to vacation or the Gulf Coast of Florida. If you can't see the problem, you are the one in the basement and need to get your head examined!!!

I have traveled all over the country from California to New England, Florida and Cruised the Caribbean. They are all great, and I had and wonderful time. Especially, the Outer Banks of NC, Fort Walton Beach Florida, and different Cruises. I enjoyed them all. Having traveled, I can compare destinations, and I stand by what I said OC sucks!!!!! Also If an ahole like you actually lives on the shore, you would know that because of high water tables, there are no basements, so you must be a Baltimoran!!!
Virginia Beach is more family friendly that OC!!

OC is a an overpriced dump! They should paint the tower to look like a gob of $&it, because that is what the town is. I too, travel from coast to coast, and there much better beaches then OC, and a whole lot cheaper!
I can go on a cruise for week much cheaper than a week in the urban sewer that OC has become. The problem is, the problems with the Washington/Baltimore corridor has been brought to OC. Who wants to deal with this?
It should be a big bottle of beer, the only reason people come to OC. To get drunk, act like idiots, etc. But they will go with the beachball. Gotta keep up that "family friendly" act.

too bad they don't have midnight Buffets and Chocolate Fountains with no sneeze guards the cruise ships offer .. although they both have had Legionaries Disease.
1:21 It takes one to know one. OC is no longer a destination, but a place to avoid! Not the family friendly place it used to be in the Sixty's seventies and eighties. There are much better places to vacation out there and OC is not one of them. Maybe you should get out some and travel. There is a big world out there. Lots to see and do and a whole lot cheaper than a week in oc. People like you are what has ruined what was once a great place. Nothing to see but prostitutes and pan handlers on the boardwalk and drug dealers in the restrooms! Enjoy, I guess you are one of them!

Come on man.Do you remember the boardwalk in the sixties and seventies? It was a freak show. Only the faces change. The freaks of yesteryear are old,burned out and watching the current freak show from the benches. Ever been to a carnival? Same thing only this one also has a beach.
