A fire lane is pretty much in every parking lot, specially the new ones... its called "The Fire Marshall's Code" whereas every parking lot or entrance and exit to a building has access for a fire truck to make it onto the property...
And for the idiots whom think that a yellow line means no parking, your wrong... It is the Red lines that mean no parking unless other wise stated by a sign...
I mean seriously nothing wrong with the fed ex picture, tho the WMDT van should be towed because its in the spot where no one can get around... at least the fed ex truck can be passed...
Secondly where would you want the truck to be parked so that you can get your delivery? I mean shit, give them a break, you complain where they are now, then they start parking in the parking lot and then you will bitch about how they blocked you out or in or how you think they should be somewhere else...
I mean for god sakes get over it... You can't fix everything to make everyone happy...
What if we just dis pan the fed ex company so you all will be happy they are not parked on the side like they where in the picture so you can't complain any more
Yellow is the No Parking of Traffic Control and Red is the No Parking of Fire Lanes.
That's why when you are at a corner with yellow on the curb, it's to alert you not to park with 10 or 20 ft. of the intersection, depending on whether it has a traffic control device, such as a stop sign.
The "bitching" as you call it is justified since parking by these marked curbs endangers someone, whether by lack of access to the hydrant or for a fire vehicle or by blocking other people's clear vision of oncoming traffic.
The colors aren't there just to decorate the curb.

Very good. And the jerk you are correcting has the nerve to call someone else a moron. lol.
After reading his bs I think the state should re-test people every so often about traffic laws. Obviously he knows little.
Wonder what the heck he thought yellow curbs meant, slow down? lmao
Is this the WMDT van in which the morning girl gets her hairstyle done?
If so, it should be removed for two reasons.
Anon 2:46 PM WTF is "The Fire Marshall's Code?"
Where did you come up with that sh!t? Cite your sources before you start calling someone else a moron.
No Parking means no parking PERIOD! The city should start issuing citations for these violations.
