MILTON — Milton Town Council plans to implement a new policy on spending, requiring all employees to submit a purchase order for purchases over a set amount.
While the measure has not been approved, several council members support a $100 threshold. Council is expected to vote on the policy at its December regular meeting.
“We need to proceed with it and have accountability – better accountability,” said Councilwoman Mary Hudson. “Every dollar counts.”
