USPS Chooses Verizon
The Postal Service has picked Verizon to build and run a major internal IT network. The six-year deal is worth $168 million, according to Verizon. They'll build the internal Internet protocol infrastructure that USPS plans to use for communication with employees and managing day-to-day operations. The Virginia-based company already has separate agreements with the Postal Service for satellite services and videoconferencing, which the new network will support.

Wow. The usps is already struggling and they contract the biggest crooks in America next to gas companies and politicians.
We're broke, but we're going to go ahead and spend 168 million dollars!
This is part of what's wrong with America!
People spending what they don't have!
All of our friends are so far in debt, they'll NEVER pay it all off, but they just keep charging, charging, charging!
The new American way?!
Guess I'm not too American in that case because the only debt I have is my mortgage on my house, which is AFFORDABLE!
I hope that they get the same, broken copper infrastructure and inept technical support that we get in our homes.
