President Obama got a little dose of Tea Party town hall anger on Monday during his three-day tour of the Midwest.
At a town hall event in Decorah, Iowa, local Tea Party activist Ryan Rhodes stood up and shouted a question at the president regarding reports that Vice President Joe Biden had called the members of the Tea Party "terrorists," USA Today reports. Rhodes questioned how the president can talk about civility when Biden was accused of using that kind of rhetoric.

Get the facts straight, Vice President Biden NEVER said those things. Ryan Rhodes was extremely disrespectful to the President and should be ashamed.
This was a bad time to hit the campaign trail anyway.Like him or hate him,Obama had too many pressing issues to deal with in DC.In a month or so,if and/or when the economy levels out,he will have plenty of time to campaign
As a Republican (and not very fond of obama), I was ashamed that someone would grill the President in such a disrespectful manner. And the president should be commended for his calm and continued response...Don't like the man? Thats our right. But every citizen should respect the office. A sad day, as far as I'm concerned, for the Tea Party.

I think the one point that was made was that he isn't listening to the people and those advising him. He acts like it's his way or the highway...not acting presidential and therefore, not getting the respect a President should be getting. I think he has earned exactly what he is getting. several reporters who were in the meeting wrote in the politico that he did say it. why would such a left leaning msm paper report it if it just wasn't true. and i guess obama telling ryan that he is not listening to obama on obamas listening tour is just what we should expect from this ruler

Disrespectful? I saw no disrespect on the part of the "Tea Partier." However, the same cannot be said of HRH, Mr. Obama. His arrogance and disdain for a citizen who has legitimate questions to ask of our nation's top public servant was painful to watch. Perhaps some of you would have preferred that the "Tea Partier" not have spoken at all (how is that democracy?)or that he bow respectfully, kiss the ring and beg for an audience with "the royal." ...and for those of you (even some on Fox News) who are singing Obama's praises and calling him "a class act" for deigning to speak to "the Tea Partier" privately. He simply wanted to get the whole scene off camera! It was an attempt at damage control. One thing I'll say for him is that he's always thinking about how to cover his own butt.
