Federal Tax Break Could Help Craft Breweries

As the popularity of small breweries continues to soar, U.S. Sen. Chris Coons wants to ensure local workers are hired as beer production increases.

Coons toured Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton Aug. 8 with owner Sam Calagione to discuss legislation designed to provide small breweries with tax breaks that can be used to reinvest into expanding production and workforce.

“We'd like to see [Dogfish] continue that remarkable growth here in Delaware in a way that helps promote Sussex County, in a way that promotes Delaware and in a way that helps create sustainable, high-quality jobs for our community for the future,” Coons said.

Sam is a good man providing employment and purchasing from local vendors,he probably would have a hard time succeeding in Maryland, because O'Malley is just like Obama they don't want private business to prosper. I am looking into moving my business to Delaware.
