UPPER MARLBORO, Md.(AP) -- A jury has awarded a black man $1.65 million, saying he had been fired from his job at the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission because of race discrimination.
The Prince George's County Circuit Court jury on Tuesday awarded Allen W. Cartwright Jr. $359,000 in lost wages and back pay. The rest was for non-economic damages.

sucks to be white i guess you wouldve had to take a demotion if you were white.what a joke this country has become.
I wonder what the makeup of the jury was there in PG County.
Well, 3:49, since PG County is mostly all-black now, I guess the jury had to have been largely black. I could be wrong, of course.
So basically what I get from the article is if your black you don't have to do a good job and when you get fired your awarded a cool million... All black people should now sue and retire.
Got to love the race card
you people can it. Most likely he was probably treated like crap and mentally abused. All of you are close minded pricks. Hopefully, you will get a chance to be victimized in the near future.

Only if you're the RACE that benefits from using it.
Bet they will say they were OWED that, and more.
How this can happen is a mystery when 9 out of ten workers in PG county are "of color".
Either sue to get money or become a welfare momma. Either way I'm living off the white man.
8:37 what color are they?
