West illustrates the danger of spouting after reading only half the story. You could easily turn the soundbite on it's head to reflect badly on Jews by inserting references from the Old testament and historical documentation.
Religion, whether its Islams, Christianity, or Judaism isn't the enemy. It's only being used as a tool to whip up support by people pushing to gain power by any means necessary, including violence. Maybe West should be asked how his comments reconcile with the millions of muslims fighting in our armed forces, risking their lives beside U.S. forces around the globe, and otherwise working to make America a better place here at home.

5:22, please reread. "Millions of muslims" refers to all those muslims participating in pro-american activities as outlined by military service in the US, service in allied nations, and citizens here at home.
