Burglary Arrest / DNA

Crime or Violation:  2nd Degree Burglary
Victim:  Atlantic Aquatech

Arrested:
1.Martino Galeaz, 39yrs, of Ocean City, MD
Charges:  2nd, 3rd, and 4th Degree Burglary, Theft over $1000

Narrative:
   

On 1-22-10, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Berlin barrack, and Investigators from the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation, responded to Atlantic Aquatech for a reported Burglary.  Investigation revealed the suspect entered the business and stole a number of items to include power tools. Through DNA analysis from evidence collected at the crime scene, Investigators were able to identify Martino Galeaz as the perpetrator of this crime.  Galeaz was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Burglary and related offenses.  He was held at the Worcester County Jail on $10,000 bond.
